“Shout out to Cheryl. She did such a wonderful job serving us and went above and beyond. (*hope she gets a raise. ; ) hint hint*). The burgers are juicy. The cup cake shakes are delicious. You can have them split a shake if you want to share. I shared mine with my neice and nephew which they loved. Red velvet cupcake shake is awesome. There is outdoor seating, seating in a more enclosed restaurant area with tvs and booths, then the area more out in the open where you can refill your drinks and order food. Half of the times I have gone, we have gotten a discount off the food, like a 2 for 1 burger sale where you get the second burger free. I took my parents, my sister and her husband plus my neice and nephew. They all loved it.Parking: Parking is the grocery store parking lot with plenty of free parking.Kid-friendliness: Dude, let's just say, my neice, nephew, and I were running around outside playing tag while we waited for our food. Twas so much fun. (Nobody else was outside except for one of the store employees who is always nice to me and he seemed to be ok with the little monkeys running around playing tag with me. ; ) so nobody was disturbed incase any Karen's are reading this.)“
“I either have a great experience here, or I have a terrible experience here and it’s solely based off which employees are working that day/night. I know you can’t win them all, but upper management has their hands full I can tell. Regardless, the food always comes out as expected and I am happy with this location overall. The drive through is sometimes hard to get into with the sharp curve from the road in front of it.“
“This is slowly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in the whole Twin Cities area. Our server was Amanda H and she was absolutely fabulous. She took great care of us and was super knowledgeable about the menu. This will definitely become our weekly/monthly hangout. ❤️?❤️?“
“Francis is AWESOME and I highly recommend it. I'm not vegan, but I can't have dairy, so it's such a relief to not have to check menu ingredients because I know I can have every single thing on the menu! Also, as someone who does eat meat, I am seriously blown away by how good their plant based burgers (and even their chicken nuggets!) are! Each menu item is well thought out and combines things I've never tried or thought to mix, and I'm happily surprised every time. Also, as someone who doesn't drink alcohol, this is my favorite spot for NA cocktails and beverages! They have dedicated drinks on the menu without alcohol (gotta try the "Beets Me", it's delicious), and can make many of their other drinks NA as well!P.S. their bathrooms are so coolVegetarian options: Everything is vegan!Dietary restrictions: Many of their menu items also have the option to be made gluten free (they have gluten free buns)Parking: There's always some amount of street parking. Depending on how busy it is, you may have to walk half a block, but I've never had an issue finding a spot.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! They have high chairs available for younger kids, and I always see families eating there.“
“I went here and it was super awesome an amazing bartender? (I think) named addie greeted us at the door (so welcoming) she asked if my kids wanted crayons (they did) anyway food was also good will be back again in the near future (March maybe?)Vegetarian options: They had some veggies!“
“Visited while on a MOA Spring Break from Chicago. Really nice location. Food was delicious. I had the patty melt with coleslaw and my husband had the chilaquiles, which he also enjoyed. Kiddos enjoyed their chicken and grilled cheese; I appreciate that it came with veggies and a surprise cookie. Service was very quick but polite as it should be. I will note they do not serve poutine fries anymore which is why we came here in the first place, but we weren't disappointed with all of the other options. Would definitely come again if we're ever in the area.“
“It’s perfection on a bun. Bring cash, prepare for a wait that looks longer than it is, a tap list that’s better than you’d expect and enjoy. No need to debate the menu, because you’re getting a Juicy Lucy and fries and you’ll be so glad you did. Don’t pass on the chance to sit at the bar — perfect vibes with great service at this must-visit classic.“
“Cool burger restaurant. Lots of options for burgers with some other stuff available. Fries are great. Burgers were very juicy (and oily, especially the 60/40 burger). Service is excellent and fast. Atmosphere is also very nice with comfy seating and TVs. Would recommend if you want a solid “
“Dined in on 3/25 and was greeted by Thunder who was very pleasant and inviting! He talked me through some great menu items and mock tails! I very much his service and the atmosphere provided by the Nicollet Diner! 10/10 will definitely be coming back!“
“Me and my stopped in because we both were craving a burger and drink after a day at work... and I must say it was an excellent find. The inside of the pub was very relaxed and comfortable-plus the entire staff (both waite staff and bartenders) were all very friendly and inviting. We were both excited to see that the special that night was a $9 cheeseburger and fries both of which were really good and a very generous portion. The beer menu constantly changes, but they had an orange Creamsicle cider, which was very refreshing .If you are in the area weather visiting or stopping in for a game I recommend stopping in.“
“My dad and I came here for lunch, he got the classic gyro and I got the gyro bowl. Both were so yummy! Very generous portions and fresh ingredients, the gyro meat was delicious. I added olives to my bowl and got a side of the spicy sauce as well as the “white sauce” on the bowl. We will definitely be back to try more menu items!“
“We stopped by randomly tonight for dinner. The food was excellent - the kale salad is to die for, the ahi tuna bites tasted so fresh and of course the burger was amazing. My 6 year old loved his kids meal (friend chicken bites). We shared mini donuts as well, which was the perfect dessert! The service was also 10/10. Our waitress was truly a wonderful, super efficient and gave great suggestions! Super impressed overall!“
“It's great juicy hamburgers like grease dripping. Dam, I should have had another one during this review. They asked no questions when I said no bun, staff was very helpful, and food came fairly quickly. We'll go there again and try some different food because if it's anything like the past two experiences, we have nothing to worry about.Dietary restrictions: I'm on the Ketovore diet it's where you pretty much remove all Carbs and suger, so I had asked for no bun, and that's what I got along with a fork and knife.“
“I have always heard about this restaurant, but I’ve never even attempted to try Until recently. When I went in the facility was very clean, and the staff was very respectable and courteous to everyone especially this young man zakariya who served us I would highly recommend .“
“Excellent burger and fries with delicious house sauces. The jalapeno burger and mushroom Swiss burgers slap. The burgers are salty so get yourself a beverage to round things out.The house sauces (BBQ and standard house) are real nice. The fries are crispy and satisfying.“
“Just tried this place for the first time. Fun atmosphere, great service, great wine selection, and some of the best food I have had at a restaurant in a long while. The baby back ribs and the Five Spice Tofu were particularly good. Loved it!“
“Best burger I have ever had. (Coastal something burger, they said it was new). The patties and bacon were HOT flavorful, juicy and perfect. The toppings were COLD and amazing. The bun was fresh and toasted… My Burger does not “check the box”… My Burger is the BURGER TO BEAT! I’ll never visit MN without visiting My Burger.Service and cleanliness was ***** as well.Price was very reasonable. I’ve paid more for less many times!Easiest 5 starts I’ve ever given.Owners, keep up the good work. I don’t know how you do this good at scale… but please consider a franchise in UTAH!! ❤️?“
“I love this place, all staffs treat me right. I’m always here everyday. My favorite thing to grab it’s Large Sunday ice cream with caramel & extra crunch ?I don’t even have to say my order anymore lol soon they see my face my order already done… I just pay & goThanks to all the sisters that’s working down there and the big Boss himself ?I really appreciate all the staffs that working down there. Thanks once again & I definitely recommend this place at this location ❤️??Stay blessed always ?????“
“This might have been the best restaurant experience I’ve had in the last decade. The waiter was SO nice and accommodating. He saw I was wearing a backpack and asked if he could clear off a table in the corner for me to do some work. It was so nice ? The market salad was also incredible (sweet potato, cranberry and goat cheese) ???“
“Food great but as I walked up to the counter the young lady looked at me and went to the back and the other employees just looked at me no one said hold on or she will be back It was awkward especially with the other employees just looking at me and no one said nothing started to leave just as I was about to leave she asked can I help you.“
“If you are looking for an old school vibe hangout then Knight cap is the place for you. It's a small neighborhood bar that's cash only. One of the nice things here is that the the ATM fee is close to the cost of a draft pour. The bar was recently renovated and the ceiling was lifted making it a lot easier to move around. Bathrooms are still tight and feels like you are being squeezed.“
“Modern Times has a cool, creative/artistic vibe to it. The cafe is bright and the staff are friendly. I love that they offer several GF options an entire vegan menu. The miel is delicious and their breakfast sandwiche on GF bread was amazing.“
“Although it’s not related to the one in little Canada. I love coming to this place. It’s always a vibe with the view of the street. It isn’t much but I think it sits perfectly in the heart of Columbia heights. I love the food, love the workers. They’re always in a great mood to get you the food you want. 10/10 always recommend if you’re craving a home style burger.“
“Affordable upscale in downtown Minneapolis. It's nice to find a place where sit down entrées range from $20-30 and it provides a good setting for a business meeting. I had a steak, which had a bit of an Asian theme to it but was delicious.“
“Excellent service and food!!! The second I walked in the door I was treated with a very warm, very Minnesotan "Hello, What can I getcha!" The young lady that took my order had a doctrine etiquette. She was patient and enthusiastic, took my order no problem. My food was ready in 15 minutes and was Hot! You can also watch them cook your food, and the table with two young couples seemed to be having fun while enjoying their food. This place was like home! " I'll be back!" ( In my very best Terminator voice)“
“This place is amazing, the staff is so helpful! They don’t charge as much as others and They are always upgrading and redoing the felt on all the tables, getting new house cues, and the food is better and cheaper than mostly restaurants. Very friendly and relaxed. Whether you’re a professional or just beginning, if it’s your first date night, anniversary, birthday party this place will take care of you. Thank you so sue and jimmy!!!“
“My husband and I came here late morning on a weekday, I wanted breakfast and he wanted lunch. It was our first visit and we didn't realize this was a Mexican cafe that also sold some standard American breakfast and lunch fare.I had their stuffed hash browns and my husband had a burger with fries. The food was excellent! The stuffed hash browns were so delicious! Crispy on the outside, stuffed with cheese, sour cream, and other goodies on the inside. My husband said his burger was very good as well. The service was fast and friendly and they were very patient with us as first time customers. We'll be back for more!Vegetarian options: Many items on the menu could be made to be vegetarianKid-friendliness: Restaurant is family friendly“
“It's been many years since I've been to Dave's just due to my proximity to the location...but I will now start adding this as a more frequent option to make the hike over. The food was amazing, the variety of food was amazing and the atmosphere was really nice.“
“I love Snuffy's. The food is always good, as is the service. I gave 4 stars because at our table there were some that ordered 1/2 malts and others that ordered full, and they were the same size...same amount in the metal cup. Server identified them as "half" and "full" when serving them (and charged accordingly). Just a note to the Snuffys folks, because there's a big difference in the cost.“
“Came to Char Bar for the first time for happy hour on Saturday with Kim T. Char Bar is a speakeasy on the inside of Butcher & Boar (through the glass doors). We arrived around 4:45 pm on a Saturday and it wasn't too crazy busy, we were one of a handful of tables. The hour menu was pretty good! A good amount of food and drink items ranging between $6-10. I had the Chicken Sammy ($10), Kim had an Arby's style 3 Way Beef & Cheese sando ($17), and we split the Curly Fries ($6). I also ordered two of the non happy hour burgers to go ($8/each). I really liked my sandwich a lot, chicken was perfectly crispy, the slaw was savory and sweet, Polynesian vibes. I would absolutely get it again! Kim liked her sandwich but she said the sauce was too much and soaked the bottom of the bun, the curly fries were fine. I had a dragon tattoo cocktail, serenity pineapple rum cocktail, and a frozen rum & cherry coke slushy. Drinks were boozy but pricey! Loved the menu showing the drinks very cute and visibly pleasing. Update: Butcher Burger ($8) was sensational! It's no Parlour Bar burger but it's sooo good, tasted gourmet and traveled well. Fun fact: the restaurant group over Parlour Bar also owns Char Bar! I liked the pickled onions and the chipotle mayo cheese sauce, good solid burger for a good price!“
“I had never been to this 5 -8 before but had been to the one in Maplewood. I enjoyed my juicy lucy. I asked for grilled onions on it. Wonderful! Also I love their Jojo potatoes. My friend ordered fried pickles which I shared. A new taste for me. I recommend going here for anyone who enjoys good hamburger. It does have other options, too.“
“Had a good breakfast here after an event at the Earle Brown Center. I'm a pancake lover and theirs are really good. They're not the light fluffy kind, they're more dense and really delicious. Huge, served hot, and have a nice hint of vanilla. My only gripe is no real maple syrup, even for an extra cost, and the only alternative to the fake stuff is diner-grade strawberry jam or grape jelly. Lots of nice whipped butter tho :)Other diners at my table liked the French toast, eggs & toast and the American fries. They really know how to do eggs, I'd come back and try an omelet or one of the specials.Vegetarian options: Substitutions are not allowed so you might be SOL if you want something without the meat. For the pancakes or French toast you can choose between bacon or eggs on the side.“
“More expensive than most places, but fairly decent location, staff seems a bit confused about how to direct customers, though. Didn't receive the food at the window, but got a sticker and a drink. The rest of the orders were taken out to the car after eventually being asked to park on the side of the drive through. Different than most places. Might have to try it again, as the food was very good. Hopefully a little training in customer interactions and direction would help bring new customers back. 3 times had to correct the ordering window about incorrectly placing pronouns. Just don't use them if it's too difficult to use them correctly. Then they snuck in another purposefully incorrect pronoun at the end. Customer service is not their forte, but at least the food was cooked correctly. Definitely workable with the right directives from management. I could try them again in a few months.Dietary restrictions: Dietary restrictions were handled with care and followed the order as displayed at the drive through ordering speaker.“
“This place was very amazing I enjoyed and loved every single bite of the Caribbean Jerk.Caribbean jerk sauce tossed with sautéed green peppers & jalapeños , chicken smothered in pepper jack cheese & provoloneAlso I had ordered The Bulgogi BowlSweet Korean BBQ sauce & onions simmered chicken and is served over steamed riceI fell in love with this place from now on I’ m going to be a regular customer for ambiance cafe you guys captured my taste buds in a fantastic way that is really hard to explain. the food was seasoned perfectly in every single bite had just the right amount of seasoning for every dish I had ordered was surprisingly amazing food and it was very affordable. Also this place is soo beautiful that it was decided right away that I knew I was coming back for the amazing food and cozy environment this is my new go to spot from now on ?.I swear to god I have never in my entire life wrote a google review on a restaurant at all no matter how good or cozy it was I never did a review but this food was soo good is only right that I let others know my experience was soo amazing ❤️❤️❤️?? I will Be Back sooner or later for that wonderful quality of food I wish I knew this place sooner but is cool it was all worth the wait and the quality like this I can wait As long it takes wonderful taste/ quality“
“Delicious ice cream! Friendly staff, lots of flavors to choose from and even provide samples if you are having a hard time deciding. Had to park down the block and a small interior that doesn't encourage a stay a while and enjoy yourself atmosphere. But the kids loves the split option to be able to get a couple of flavors without a ridiculous amount. They are already begging to go back so they can try more flavors.“
“I have been dining at 50's Grill in Brooklyn Center for over 30 years with my family and have so many fond memories as a result. My sister and I stopped in for lunch again yesterday and had a great time reminiscing about childhood meals at 50's Grill.50's Grill is an absolute time warp!! From the nostalgic waiting room to the decor, staff uniforms, and delicious, homecooked food, this place has remained unchanged. With so much of the City of Brooklyn Center evolving (not in a good way) over the past 20 years, it's so refreshing to see 50's Grill continuing to thrive with great people & food.Thank you to the entire 50's Grill family for helping to make your restaurant a special place!“
“Not a place to sit down and eat, although they do have a few tables. I had the chicken and rice bowl, spicy, and it came out fast, hot, and the flavors were outstanding. About the same or a little less than i would pay at a chain/fast-food place for the entree and a drink but definitely better quality than that. I'll be returning for sure.“
“My Burger is a generous donor to school fundraisers, and so Ive been eating here once a month with a BOGO coupon, and even at twice the price, this is a great fast-ish food place. Crisp fries, fresh burgers with toasted buns and good toppings. What more are you looking for? Oh right, milkshakes. I usually just take a few sips from my kid's and yes it is amazing. I've sat at the counter and watched the kitchen staff do their choreography. There's some fun art on the walls. It's a good vibe.“
“My wife and I were there for lunch , as we have before and have had a great time but not this time .They seated us and our waitress greeted us which was fine, we ordered I had the special a walleye sandwich it was good, a little messy but good. My wife ordered the hot turkey sandwich and that was not so good the turkey meat looked old like leftovers the whole meal just did not look appealing. She asked if she could get a little more gravy which they brought out, the gravy had a lot of pepper in it making it hard to eat. So we got our bill and got ready to leave when we notice that they charged us two dollars for a small bowl of gravy. It maybe quite some time before we go back, but next time we know what not to order.“
“This local "dive bar",checks all the boxes. A nice mix of standard beers, craft beer, and beer from a bygone era (Old Style on tap). Short menu (small grill next to the bar) but the sausage patty burgers are the best. And don't forget the potato salad. I am always amazed with the bartenders who can serve drinks to a full house and grill food in-between pours. This place is the epitomy of NEMPLS“
“Love when I walk into a restaurant and I can see and smell the history! What a charming little neighborhood spot. Was so pleasantly surprised to see that they have a separate room with pool tables and a few different games. Thank you tooties for not renovating your restaurant to look like every other modern restaurant in the US. Keep the charm, keep the old, keep the nostalgia!“
“Alicia is great and will make your day better! Sheila is a bit intense but managable. Fun intense...like camping. John is the best bartender in the place. I'm not sure how Brandis still works there....in a good way. She's like a mean sister who would actually cry if you died. If Davey is working, tell him to quit his job and drink with you instead. He will give it serious thought. HAley (not Hailey, she sucks) will, without fail, screw up your first order but will spend all of eternity aplogizing. Mary OG (Thursdays) pretends she likes people and dogs but secretly only likes dogs. The food is above average bar food. The smash burgers are always a great choice. There is one regular who sometimes steals shots but he will buy you a new one, so it's okay! Check 'em out!“
“Really enjoyed my meal there. We were there for a work function and the bruschetta and meatball appetizers were superb. Good beer selection, too. And don't hesitate to order the sea bass entree, it melts like butter in your mouth. So amazing and succulent. The only just ok thing was the cheesecake for dessert. Great patio and atmosphere. Parking can be a challenge though.March 2024: had lunch here, excellent service and tasty food. The bread is life starter is delicious (and hot out of the oven). The Cuban sandwich made especially by Sammy was superb.“
“Excellent salad. Entree walleye was perfect. I am always surprised at the the speed and quality of food from the tiny kitchen. Rose is a terrific serverA quibble. This bistro is literally part of the best liquor store in the Twin Cities The wine selection is modest. As to spirits, on another visit, they “ran out” of one of the most common brands of bourbon.“
“Good bar food, good bar drink options, friendly staff. Maxine is the best! Popcorn and pull tabs, it kinda feels stuck in the 80's but sometimes that's a good thing. Besides, it's in Osseo which also seems like it's stuck in the 80's with the houses in the community being built in the 50's or older“
“Great traditional American Italian dishes, excellent people working there! Lots of cheese and delicious sauce. Super- duper warm, comfort food. Pricing has always been appreciated amongst locals. I wanna say, I think I it was 25 years ago that we tried this restaurant the first time and it's only gotten better with time.Kid-friendliness: Great family-friendly restaurant. They moved to a bigger, better location across the hwy from the original location. They used to play cartoons on a big screen for adults and big kids at heart! These days, you can't beat this restaurant for value and wonderful flavor. I really like their baked ravioli with a salad featuring yummy, made in house, ranch dressing. ?“
“This place was great, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere, awesome buffet from 11 to 2 pm, Friday's for sure. Maybe more days. Had brosted chicken, fried fish, Reuben casserole, mix of deserts and more. Great little find and a filling stop.“
“Drive-thru moves fast even at peak hours. Super friendly staff, flawless accuracy, delicious food with some options for healthy if you can avoid the best battered onion rings in MN. Upbeat crew. For diabetics, the sugar-free root beer is wonderful. Ate in my car, it has great ambiance!Vegetarian options: Not for vegans but there are cheese and fish offerings (sadly no fish or shrimp are grilled, batter-fried only) salads, fruit, frozen custard.“
“I always love coming to The Depot Tavern before a show at First Ave. They have excellent vegetarian options, service is great and food is always very fresh, hot and delicious. I miss the sauce trio with fries, but like the new menu items a lot! Depot staff do a great job here and they are always friendly and efficient with service. It' so also nice that you can buy tickets here for upcoming shows at the ticket window. Cheers!“
“Love their Parmesian steak and shrimp. Not to mention their triple bipass...er, i mean triple meltdown. A gooey chocolate cake with vanilla ice creamParking: At least a dozen parking spots designated for Apple bees aline plus a big old parking lot of spots there too.“
