“The staff went over and beyond for us on Wednesday night. We were having a viewing party for the finale of the show The Floor. They put the show on some of the tvs so we could watch. “We were there for Sunday breakfast and all of our food was excellent. I also had a Bloody Mary that was very good! There were two servers on duty. One came over just after we sat down and told us our server would be right with us and could she take our beverage order. When our server came to our table, she was already aware of our beverage order. Very good service!“

“Great place to stop by for an ice cream! Tons of soft serve choices which is my favorite and somewhat hard to find a dedicated place for it. I've had a couple varieties but honestly I'm a sucker for pistachio soft serve and this is one of the few places around that has it!

The staff is friendly and works through the line quick enough. It's not really a place you can come and sit down to eat although there's a couple picnic tables nearby that you can eat at if you want.

I haven't tried anything but their ice cream yet, but based on their ice cream I'm sure it's delicious! I'll make sure to update my review if I ever do!“

“There are very few restaurants that I really want eat at regularly, but Mississippi Pub is one of those. The consistency of the menu is part of that… I know that the wings will be crispy and hot. I know that the brunch items will be savory and plentiful. But the atmosphere is the other. This is NOT fast food! Come to enjoy a cocktail (or an excellent mocktail), the view of the river, and leisurely enjoy the experience. If you’re in a hurry, I’m sure there’s a fast food restaurant you can choose instead 😂“

“Ordered a full sheet of Ho ho cake at the Roseville location. From the online order to the pick up... absolute perfection. Everyone was so friendly and if they didn't know they found out the answer. I didn't have to worry if the cake was going to be exactly what I was hoping for. AND the taste... so many compliments. Definitely will be back for more cakes from here. “HEADS UP VEGETARIANS!!! If you order a plain cheese pizza with wild rice on it, or a "hog in the bog with no sausage", the wild rice still has sausage mixed in. I have no idea why. It's not indicated as such on the website and several employees *do not know* that the wild rice comes with sausage mixed in and cannot be included separately as vegetarian. This is my one and only complaint and it breaks my heart because everything else is awesome but this lack of communication around seemingly vegetarian-safe ingredients is quite frankly a health risk.“

“Ok, we’ve all heard it time and time again. Everyone has the best bbq. Just ask them. 90% of the time, I go somewhere and I’m disappointed. Definitely not the case with Pitty Q. I have never heard about this place until about a week ago. It popped up on my facebook page. A review from Tony Cu. Tony had nothing but good things to say about this place. So I told my wife, “When we go down for the Vikings game, we’re going to try this place out.” Man am I glad we did. My wife and I split the 3 meat meal. The brisket, ribs, and chicken were phenomenal. Best bbq, besides my own, that I’ve had in Minnesota. The vinegar and mustard sauce is to die for. 10/10 Will definitely come back.“

“I have a son who has Celiacs Disease and eating out is always a challenge. Not only is it hard to find places that can accommodate his dietary needs, it’s even harder to find places that have ‘staples’ that actually taste like he remembers before he had to cut out gluten. I heard about this place on a GF Facebook page and my wife I decided to make the 40+ minute drive from home as an end of the week treat. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The menu was actually hard for him to choose from so we almost let him try it all. We started with fried pickles and cheese curds, one of which was completely new to him, and the other which is a rare thing to find because of the batter and non-dedicated fryers. Both were amazing. For his main course he did fried walleye and tater tots. There was so much food that he was able to make it into two more meals the next day and they reheated perfectly in an air fryer at home. For dessert he had GF deep fried Oreos and ice cream. That dish was completely devoured with no leftovers remaining. My wife’s and my meals were not GF, but there was more options than we could handle and those dishes were also amazing.

The ambiance was typical of a small town sports bar/pub, which is again a rarity in terms of finding that kind of food in that type of establishment. Our server was very friendly and the person who delivered the food was equally friendly. I suspect he was an owner or the manager and he answered additional questions we had about the food prep and handling of the GF ingredients and cooking. We will definitely be making the trip back!“

The staff is amazing, the food is incredible and the community is tight knit and welcoming. I couldn't have picked a better city to live in than St. Paul, and Pillbox is a major reason for it.“
