Stopped tonight after work to grab some food... It was a Saturday night and the place was empty... It surprised me be because it was a beautiful place... I ordered an hors d'oeuvre and it took 25 minutes to get my food. There are only three other tables in the house and I'm not sure what took so long but when I got my food the presentation was phenomenal the food was not that great. Many reviews can be hyperbolic and give unfair appraisals of one's true experience. What follows is a measured fair description of my experiences. My family owns a cabin on Gull and have made Kelly's/Jake's part of our many cabin vacations per year. The Jake's transition was welcomed as it brought a new menu and added quality. Another outstanding meal and service at Jake's! We loved the Scezuan Green Bean appetizer, Lobster tacos and Herb chicken. Really great Old Fashion and Moscow Mule cocktails. Cassandra was an attentive, friendly server. We always have this experience at Jake's!
