Blast Soft Serve in Owatonna is a highly recommended ice cream spot, known for its delicious and customizable soft serve. The cookie dough blend, a customer favorite, incorporates the cookie dough throughout the ice cream and can be mixed with hot fudge. Prices are affordable, with large portions that stand tall above the cone. Other popular items include the Blugoo cone, strawberry shakes, hot fudge sundae, and pup cups for dogs. The location by the river adds to the experience, providing a relaxing atmosphere and some seating. While there is no parking lot, nearby street-side parking is usually available, making it easy for visitors. The service is known to be great, with lightning-fast service even when there’s a line. Customers have enjoyed the flavor bursts and frosties, especially the blue raspberry. With a variety of delicious offerings, including hard-serve ice cream options, Blast Soft Serve is worth the visit.
