Great service great attitude!
I asked the store manager if there was any paprika in the brisket and she said she had no way of knowing. I explained I have an allergy to peppers & she pointed to a small sign that referenced cross contamination & shrugged. There is a big difference between cross contamination and ingredients. Your store manager should be trained in allergies AND know how to look up ingredients in the food & communicate it to the public. This should be the standard not the exception. Based on the reviews, Café Zupas offers great fresh food with a menu of soups, sandwiches, salads, and bowls, so there’s something for everyone. The Power Bowl and the Southwest Avocado Bowl are packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavor. The soups are always rich and comforting, and the strawberry Dubai cups are a perfect blend of sweetness and freshness. The coconut lime dirty soda is incredibly refreshing and unique. Every meal comes with a thoughtful touch: a piece of fresh bread and a chocolate covered strawberry. The Nuts About Berries Salad is a favorite, and adding avocado & egg works great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One manager went above and beyond; when a sandwich was missing from a to-go order, he immediately took control, brought the missing sandwich to the door, and included a nice piece of cheese cake. However, at times the restaurant needs to be cleaned, tables and floors. On one visit, the team seemed unprepared and there was no hustle or direction, with younger staff standing around. Also, the restaurant used to advertise no tip option because they pay employees a fair wage, but that changed and tip options now appear. Do not buy the holiday candy cane chocolate cup things, as it was $15 with no price advertised.
