“My husband and I took our daughters out for dinner. Nightingale is a lovely restaurant with a bar in the middle. We started with deviled eggs, mushroom bruschetta and french fries. For entrées, we had the Meyer lemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. I didn't think the french fries were that good and my husband said the lemon risotto was not that great either but everything else was delicious. Service was excellent.“
“My dad and I came here for lunch, he got the classic gyro and I got the gyro bowl. Both were so yummy! Very generous portions and fresh ingredients, the gyro meat was delicious. I added olives to my bowl and got a side of the spicy sauce as well as the “white sauce” on the bowl. We will definitely be back to try more menu items!“

Yes, I have a personal bias as I met my future wife at Runyon's in 1991 and just like Runyon's, we have been together since 1991 and now married for 30 years in 2024. If you have never been to Runyon's...get there, if you have not been there for years, go back. Remains one of our classic favorites. “Highly recommended. The Domino's Pizza at 1901 Johnson St NE has free parking right outside the location. I walked in and found my pizza immediately. It was in a dedicated carry out section with my name clearly facing the customer waiting area. I didn't interact with the staff, but they seemed friendly with the other customer with whom they were working. I will definitely choose the Domino's at 1901 Johnson St NE going forward for carry out and delivery.“

It was our first visit and we didn't realize this was a Mexican cafe that also sold some standard American breakfast and lunch fare.I had their stuffed hash browns and my husband had a burger with fries. The food was excellent! The stuffed hash browns were so delicious! Crispy on the outside, stuffed with cheese, sour cream, and other goodies on the inside. My husband said his burger was very good as well. The service was fast and friendly and they were very patient with us as first time customers. “The go to place for dim sum. Family owned with a younger kid running the restaurants which always means the food is amazing. The dim sum menu is voluminous with the traditional dishes. Servers don’t walk around with carts but will walk around with plates of food. Hard to find that nowadays with the traditional carts. The food here is always fresh and busy. “Alicia is great and will make your day better! Sheila is a bit intense but managable. Fun intense...like camping. John is the best bartender in the place. I'm not sure how Brandis still works there....in a good way. She's like a mean sister who would actually cry if you died. If Davey is working, tell him to quit his job and drink with you instead. He will give it serious thought. HAley (not Hailey, she sucks) will, without fail, screw up your first order but will spend all of eternity aplogizing. Mary OG (Thursdays) pretends she likes people and dogs but secretly only likes dogs. The food is above average bar food. The smash burgers are always a great choice. There is one regular who sometimes steals shots but he will buy you a new one, so it's okay! Check 'em out!“
“We come here about one a month. Getting a bucket of wings with sweet and sower sauce. They are great salty wings with good flavor. Its nice that they are not like everyone else giving wing segments. Wing joint gives you the hole wing. So when you order a bucket of wings you get 24 hole wings. It like ordering 48 wings from everyone else.“

There's always some sort of entertainment here: poker tournaments, live music, or just great people watching. The clientele truly is a mix of all types of people, old and young. They have menus in Spanish. It really feels like everyone is welcome.The staff is really nice and plays into the fun. After just a few visits, they started greeting me with my usual drink.As far as the food, they have a lot of classic bar fare, but the wings are the best! I've tried all the flavors and the lemon pepper dry rub are my favorite. If you can't find your own table, it's common to grab a seat at someone else's to eat your food. There are no tables in the restaurant, but there are plenty of shops in the area to check out while you wait for your pizza to get done. It's worth the wait, and it tastes great! Pizza came out in a timely manner considering they make them to order and cook them. Came early because we had haircuts scheduled later that evening and got our food and were able to finish our meal with plenty of time to spare and even sit and write a review.Wheelchair accessibility: Nice, flat floors and plenty of space to maneuver my wheelchair. “The deep dish 8 corner pizza is my go too,the crust is delicious compared to other places and you can pick what type you want. It does take a lot longer to cook than other items on the menu so be prepared to wait a while. I only order and pickup as their delivery is expensive and takes over an hour since they don't have enough workers or delivery drivers. The manager has always been pretty nice there“

She didn't have a clue about what was on the menu or answering our questions about items on the menu with what it is or how it's prepaired, what comes with the items as a side item, ect...had to ask the cook for answers (I feel should already have been learned by the employee after the hiring practices/qualifications for the job, ect..). Very friendly and tried her best, but for a newer business, not knowing what's on the menus or anything about the items, got frustrating for us alittle. We were first timers to the place ourselves and didn't know anything about the food/menu items ourselves, but for the front order taker to be in the same situation as us, just made the process take longer. She just lacked the/ training and I'm sure over time, she'll be a top employee there. Otherwise, 4.75 stars of 5 in my opinion.“
“I was driving by and did a double take when I saw their sign. I decided to stop in to see what they offered because Nigerian restaurant menus tend to vary. It’s a small carryout only spot. The woman working there was very nice and accommodating. I informed her that I’m vegan and inquired about a few of my favorite Nigerian foods: egusi, greens, jollof, and beans. She didn’t have egusi. She stated that she had greens but they’re made with fish. She then offered to make me a fresh batch sans the fish if I had time to wait. I most certainly do! It wasn’t a long wait either. I got a hefty container of food for about $15. There was enough food for 2 days (if I wasn’t being greedy).I tried my food right away. The greens were very good and clearly freshly made with quality produce. The beans were good. The jollof rice was SLAMMIN!! Perfection in the flavor department!I’m unsure how long they’ve been open, but they seem fairly new. They’re located in a strip mall with other small, locally owned businesses. Again, it’s carryout only; you cannot sit in and eat. (I ate in my car.) However, to their defense, I normally have 10+ additional sauces with my orders...so 90% accuracy on $0.75 sauces is completely acceptable when you consider that it's < than 2% of my total order.Best Big-Chain pizza brand and it's not even close.
