Something about coming here is like coming home, it's very cozy and intimate! A best kept secret of Rochester for sure! I must add that the staff are seemingly genuine and you can tell they enjoy their jobs- not like other restaurants where you get a fake nice.”

I ordered the beef stroganoff and overall it was okay. I found it bland and it needed more flavor. The main flavor for me, was flour. I also had to ask for salt and pepper which was not provided. There was some dill on it which added some flair but not enough dill. I feel fresh parsley will bring this dish to life along with some extra garlic. The carrot cake cupcake was amazing. The light frosting, the carmel drizzel, and candied carrots all were flavorful!”

I had a nice Cream Ale from Bauhaus Brew Labs in Minneapolis, which was nice to try local beers while we're here from Arizona. If I lived here or Minneapolis I would come back to try the other varieties of dishes.”

For one of the treatments, my dad couldn't eat carbs before hand, and Tracy easily offered to pick out a muffin to take home to eat after the testing instead of with the meal. For as stressful as this experience has been, Tracy was a ray of sun shine. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!”

That's why this is still my go to pizza place. They shred their cheese off the block, so it's fresh and delicious. They also make their sauce from scratch with a secret family recipe handed down for generations. The lunch server woman is incredible as well.”

I got the all you can eat. had some shrimp and calamari tempura, Phoenix roll, new crazy roll, futa maki, and royal roll. the phoenix was a very strong start, a great first roll. the new crazy roll was my first time trying deep fried sushi, I had no idea what to expect but never could have expected what I got. it blew my mind. Futa Maki was a great roll to have after the crazy roll because the crazy roll is very bold and the futs maki was milder and simpler. a delicious high quality pallette cleanser and a great transition into the Royal Roll. which was my favorite one. the lobster sauce was sweet, the presentation was gorgeous. like everything else, the flavor was high quality and the roll was expertly crafted. “The food is freshly made, right in front of you. It’s the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had (Philly Ranch)! The fresh cut fries are never cold or soggy. One of my orders was made online while I was in the PICU with my son. Of course, he woke up when I attempted to lay him down to go across the street to get it when I got the text it was done, so I wasn’t going to be able to pick it up in a timely manner. I called and let them know I was still going to come get my food but it wasn’t going to be right away. They told me just to call when I would be coming and they would make me a whole new meal! 🖤”

“My son took me to his favorite sushi place in Rochester last night. I can see why it's his favorite. Our server Summer was wonderful, answered all our questions was very attentive. She noticed me struggling with chopsticks and kindly offered either a fork or training chopsticks which I gladly accepted the training chopsticks. Sushi was AMAZING! we ordered 6 different kinds between our party of 3. Loved them all. Decor inside was very nice, while it looked rather small it comfortably accommodated 2 parties of over 9 each and various other tables. Thank you for a wonderful sushi experience. My only negative is please use black font next time you print your menus, white is very hard for older folks to read making it much harder to tell what ingredients the sushi will have. Highly recommend this restaurant!”

I loved the flavor of my pizza, the toppings, the chicken was super juicy and soft, even after I reheated my leftovers in the air fryer. I also tried their cinnamon apple streusel dessert and my my my, that was DA BOMB!!!! This restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The space is beautifully designed—minimalist yet warm, with large windows that flood the room with natural light, perfect for a slow morning or catching up on reading.
I ordered a single-origin pour-over and a croissant, and both exceeded expectations. The coffee was exceptionally well-brewed—bright, layered, and clearly sourced with care. The baristas were friendly but not overbearing; they knew their craft and were happy to explain the tasting notes. I also appreciated that they offered alternative milk options and had a thoughtful, small menu of pastries that paired well with their drinks.
What I loved most about Spyhouse was its balance between sophistication and comfort. It’s not just a place to grab a quick coffee—it invites you to stay, sip, and enjoy the experience. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just want a beautiful spot to unwind in Rochester, Spyhouse delivers both in quality and atmosphere. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in town.

We had the place pretty much to ourselves. Lots of TVs. Okay music. We could watch our meal being prepared on a flat top in the kitchen. Everything came out quite quickly. The wonton appetizers were nice and crisp with a maple syrup and like a Freddy's frie sauce with them. ??The cheeseburgers were cooked to order (medium) and were nice and greasy as they should be fried on a flat top. The fries were good, too. It was a Monday at 1 pm. We would go there again.”

“Visited on 2/23/2025 for dinner, had Guinness fish and chips. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. My wife had Shepard's pie and she raved about it. Ashley G was our server that day and was excellent. Was so good we went back for lunch 2/26/2025. I had the Celtic Meat loaf, and my wife had Shepard's pie again. Chris W. was our server and was also excellent. For the atmosphere and service wad above pare and prices were very reasonable. I would whole hardily recommend you eat here if you visit Rochester, MN”

“Beautiful Restaurant with wonderful ambience and very talented chefs and great service. We tried Turkish and Parisian dishes and everyone kept commenting on how delicious it was. I had a nice Cream Ale from Bauhaus Brew Labs in Minneapolis, which was nice to try local beers while we're here from Arizona. If I lived here or Minneapolis I would come back to try the other varieties of dishes.”
