“I grew up going to the old location of Pannekoeken and LOVED it. I had countless Sunday brunches with my grandparents and parents there, begging for troll dolls and ordering the namesake dish so that I could hear the servers announce my breakfast.

Much of this charm remains, but I kind of HATE this new location. The wide open warehouse-esque space is not cozy and does not fit the vibe of the food or nostalgia needed for this restaurant to shine.”

Last night, I celebrated my birthday for the second time in two days at Ruth's Chris, and neither location (Rochester, MN or New Orleans, LA) disappointed. Our server, Ray, was awesome!!!! Ray went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration special. His assistant, Gustavo, was also great! The front door hostesses were very friendly and hospitable, as well as the other servers who didn't attend to our tables. I would definitely recommend this location in Rochester!”

“I've been meaning to come here since it opened and I'm so sad it took me this long! The restaurant was beautiful and uniquely decorated. A perfect atmosphere with just enough murmur of conversations and music in the background. Our server Corey was amazing, he was very patient with us while we took our time ordering and gave good insight on the menu and answered all questions! Our door came very quickly and was so delicious! Our side of cauliflower was gone in under 2 minutes (I could've just eaten that for dinner) both of our main dishes were amazing. I'm already counting down the days to have the rigatoni again! We finished with dessert or the olive oil sea salt ice cream which was perfect in all ways. We were sent complimentary champagne toasts to celebrate my mother's birthday and they put a candle in her dessert. We felt very cared for and will definitely be going back!”

Taco Jed has the perfect amalgamation of Amazing food and flavor, patience and of course, professional staff. The atmosphere is kicking so one can enjoy great food in a great setting! But what keeps my family going again and again is the fact that they are SO sweet about medical stuff (being right by Mayo that is HUGE). I can recall several examples of the staff being supportive towards my mom who has been living with end stage cancer for years now. We go EVERY appointment and surgery scheduled in Rochester. In fact - we are going tonight!”

“went here for the first time today! im so glad we came here. this was an incredible experience. our server was an absolute sweetheart and the sushi was absolutely premium quality. I got the all you can eat. had some shrimp and calamari tempura, Phoenix roll, new crazy roll, futa maki, and royal roll. the phoenix was a very strong start, a great first roll. the new crazy roll was my first time trying deep fried sushi, I had no idea what to expect but never could have expected what I got. it blew my mind. Futa Maki was a great roll to have after the crazy roll because the crazy roll is very bold and the futs maki was milder and simpler. a delicious high quality pallette cleanser and a great transition into the Royal Roll. which was my favorite one. the lobster sauce was sweet, the presentation was gorgeous. like everything else, the flavor was high quality and the roll was expertly crafted. “Great tasting pizza! They are a family owned business in Rochester. Zadeos has two types of crusts: a hand-tossed original New York style crust and thin crust. They have a variety of specialty pizzas such as a Premiere, Meat Supreme, and Taco pizza. You definitely exact portions/toppings for what you pay for. They also have a lunch buffet from 11:00am to 1:30pm Tuesday through Saturday, which includes single topping pizza, meatballs, garlic bread, and a salad bar.”

“Excellent installation catering to south Rochester.

Being on the south side, this is a great place for all commuters south of Rochester.

They have a full bar and , (new to me), an all you can eat sushi menu. Granted you won't have access to every roll they offer but it actually includes specialty rolls and even appetizers like everyone's favorite gyoza.

I found myself opting for the Hibachi menu, since it has a flavor profile worth exploring with a glass of Pinot Grigo.

Next time id like to explore the Terryaki menu profiles and wine pairing possibilities.

They have a few dining booths that appear to host parties of up to 6 and im sure they can host a larger party with arrangements made.”

“I visited Forager and the venue is welcoming with one of the best tucked away patios. The paintings on the building were beautiful. The guitarist performing outside was on point. I ordered the beef stroganoff and overall it was okay. I found it bland and it needed more flavor. The main flavor for me, was flour. I also had to ask for salt and pepper which was not provided. There was some dill on it which added some flair but not enough dill. I feel fresh parsley will bring this dish to life along with some extra garlic. The carrot cake cupcake was amazing. The light frosting, the carmel drizzel, and candied carrots all were flavorful!”

“This is the best place in the town to have ice cream even in the late night hours. We go there to have ice cream, often, the softy cone or Sundae. We enjoy this place a lot. There is a lot of parking space available and you can get vanilla softy cone just in few bucks.”

For the atmosphere, live music, the incredible staff (no, not favoring because I worked here, totally different staff), the food is consistent and the drinks- chefs kiss (Ryan is FANTASTIC)! Something about coming here is like coming home, it's very cozy and intimate! A best kept secret of Rochester for sure! I must add that the staff are seemingly genuine and you can tell they enjoy their jobs- not like other restaurants where you get a fake nice.”

Chris W. was our server and was also excellent. For the atmosphere and service wad above pare and prices were very reasonable. I loved the flavor of my pizza, the toppings, the chicken was super juicy and soft, even after I reheated my leftovers in the air fryer. I also tried their cinnamon apple streusel dessert and my my my, that was DA BOMB!!!! This restaurant is definitely worth a visit! The employees were friendly and professional and the restaurant is clean. The prices are absolutely reasonable and the taste is worth every penny! The food was good but I had to cover the food with napkins because there were so many flies. “We were in town for a Figure Skating competition. My 11 yr old is gluten free, and scared of eating out. She would rather not eat on competition days if she has to eat out. I told her you guys had a dedicated gluten free kitchen she was so excited. We ate there twice. The food was so good. The staff was so friendly.
