Something about coming here is like coming home, it's very cozy and intimate! A best kept secret of Rochester for sure! I must add that the staff are seemingly genuine and you can tell they enjoy their jobs- not like other restaurants where you get a fake nice.”

“I grew up going to the old location of Pannekoeken and LOVED it. I had countless Sunday brunches with my grandparents and parents there, begging for troll dolls and ordering the namesake dish so that I could hear the servers announce my breakfast.
Much of this charm remains, but I kind of HATE this new location. The wide open warehouse-esque space is not cozy and does not fit the vibe of the food or nostalgia needed for this restaurant to shine.”

The establishment boasted a clean atmosphere, fast service, and friendly staff. I frequently dined there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and was never disappointed. I got the all you can eat. had some shrimp and calamari tempura, Phoenix roll, new crazy roll, futa maki, and royal roll. the phoenix was a very strong start, a great first roll. the new crazy roll was my first time trying deep fried sushi, I had no idea what to expect but never could have expected what I got. it blew my mind. Futa Maki was a great roll to have after the crazy roll because the crazy roll is very bold and the futs maki was milder and simpler. a delicious high quality pallette cleanser and a great transition into the Royal Roll. which was my favorite one. the lobster sauce was sweet, the presentation was gorgeous. like everything else, the flavor was high quality and the roll was expertly crafted. “Great tasting pizza! They are a family owned business in Rochester. Zadeos has two types of crusts: a hand-tossed original New York style crust and thin crust. They have a variety of specialty pizzas such as a Premiere, Meat Supreme, and Taco pizza. You definitely exact portions/toppings for what you pay for. They also have a lunch buffet from 11:00am to 1:30pm Tuesday through Saturday, which includes single topping pizza, meatballs, garlic bread, and a salad bar.”

I ordered the beef stroganoff and overall it was okay. I found it bland and it needed more flavor. The main flavor for me, was flour. I also had to ask for salt and pepper which was not provided. There was some dill on it which added some flair but not enough dill. I feel fresh parsley will bring this dish to life along with some extra garlic. The carrot cake cupcake was amazing. The light frosting, the carmel drizzel, and candied carrots all were flavorful!”

We liked it so much we bought a quart to bring back home with us to Chicago. We used it on Salmon I caught in Alaska. It was amazing how the sauce complimented the salmon. The staff was super friendly and knowledgable about about the menu and were able to make excellent recommendations on choosing what to try. It was our first time there. We will definitely be going back when we are back in Rochester.”

We had the place pretty much to ourselves. Lots of TVs. Okay music. We could watch our meal being prepared on a flat top in the kitchen. Everything came out quite quickly. The wonton appetizers were nice and crisp with a maple syrup and like a Freddy's frie sauce with them. ??The cheeseburgers were cooked to order (medium) and were nice and greasy as they should be fried on a flat top. The fries were good, too. It was a Monday at 1 pm. We would go there again.”

“Crumbl Cookies is always fun with its rotating weekly menu and big, indulgent flavors. I love their super thick chocolate chip cookie, but I’m also a fan of their super thin version because the bottom caramelizes and gives it a perfect sweet crunch. I was also surprised by how much I enjoyed the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake cookie even though I don’t normally like cheesecake. Great flavors, huge cookies and always something new to try.”
