“I ordered from Imperial Wok for the first time this week. Hands down my FAVORITE Chinese place in Rochester and my new go-to. Had the sesame chicken, white rice and crab rangoons. not sure if the crab rangoons were a little older but those were the only thing I didn't care for.“

“First time there. Ordered Szechuan beef. Absolutely incredible. Great spice, lots of beef, lots of veggies, egg roll, fried rice. Huge order. Friendly people, 5 minutes in the wok and I was out the door.

“I've frequented take out here for many years and kept coming back because of the value...good and fresh at reasonable price.\nThey have had the buffet for several years but the restaurant WAS run down. Recent renovations however have made me reconsider and today I'm happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet. \nPlace was somewhat busy but plenty of seating.\nThe buffet was kept fresh and stocked.\nThe owners have always been gracious and welcoming.\nThis is a hidden gem for a great value lunch.“

“Stopped to pick up carry out over lunch. I ordered online- it was easy and fast. Our order was accurate and food was hot. Egg rolls were smaller than regular egg rolls.The store does have some limited seating. Restrooms in back- one out of order.The lady who took my payment and prepared our order was NOT friendly. She was yelling at me, with frown on her face when I asked her to repeat what she was asking. I’m not hard of hearing, I just didn’t understand her question. She was asking how many sweet and sour sauce I wanted. Her yelling and speaking louder didn’t solve the language barrier between us. It only made me want to leave. I stopped to get three separate orders to deliver to three friends who I thought needed a day brightener. I wasn’t sure I even wanted the food after dealing with this nagar I’ve women. Maybe she was just having a bad day. I would give 1 start for friendliness .

“Sometimes it depends on who is cooking as to how saucy your entree is. I do like tofu saucy and if it doesn't have enough, I just ask for more sauce on the side. Can't go wrong with the Peking Chicken, Bourbon Street Chicken and Firecracker Tofu. Love the beans and cream cheese wontons for apps. Service is always friendly and fast.“
