“I love the Blue Heron. I haven't been there for many years, because I live two hours away. This was a trip down memory lane. My sister, brother and I all worked there in the 1970's. We decided to have dinner there after attending our niece, nephew and three of their daughters' Spring Ice Skating Show in Richmond (where we grew up).The food was amazing, and the salad bar...YUM! It was as good as I remember it being nearly 50 years ago. We all made a second trip to the salad bar. Tomato bisque soup, delicious.We all enjoyed our various entrees, but ended up asking for doggie bags because there was so much food. I got to enjoy my meal a second time at home...silver linings!The server was very friendly and efficient. If you're looking for a supper club atmosphere with the bonus of a delicious meal, then look no further!“
“Made a reservation, but still had to wait. Was told our table was still occupied. However when we arrived in the dining room, there were many open tables and only 4 people were noted to have left the restaurant after we arrived. There were also several other groups waiting when we arrived and they were waiting when we arrived. We could have ordered drinks and an appetizer, but with the wait for our table we just did meals, due to not wanting to get home very late, as we had a stop to make and then an hour drive to get home.“
“This place is fun for the whole family. I love the environment and I absolutely love the staff. We've been here many times. But this time My 3-year-old was really nervous about meeting Chucky and one of the staff members was so kind, and went to go get him. She was so excited. I really like that before you leave. They check the parents number and make sure that it matches with the kiddos. It's a fun and safe place for the whole entire family.“

“The Local Blend has a great selection of drinks and is a fun place to stop in St. Joe. Their coffee is good, and they offer fun seasonal drinks as well as kombucha. I have gotten some decent lunch items here, but many of the baked goods, like the muffins and scones are dry and a bit lacking in flavor for my taste.“
