My wife and I joined my buddy Ronnie and his wife Carla for a Sunday jazz brunch. We enjoyed the jazz guitarist and food was delicious...I had the chicken and johnny cakes. I gotta figure out how they fixed that chicken!
The owner is just WONDERFUL! Great service and very personable- a Saint Paul icon.
The owners and staff are warm & welcoming & the atmosphere is great! The food, coffee & teas are always fresh & delicious. One of the best Jewels in Saint Paul!

Golden Thyme Cafe is a pleasant and airy neighborhood coffeeshop with a wonderful, amazing atmosphere. The staff is friendly, welcoming, humble, and down to earth, providing incredible service. The sit-down area is comfortable and one of the best, with plenty of outlets and seating for chatting. When the french doors open, it feels like a proper European sidewalk café. The food is delicious, including croissants like the ham and cheese croissant, burgers, quinoa salad, and jambalaya. They serve good lattes and margaritas. There is easy and plenty of parking in the quaint neighborhood.
