Delicious food, QR code ordering and drinks brought out right away. The bar atmosphere is geared more to adults, but they have kid friendly options too that went over well with my large bunch of kids. I appreciated the healthier carrot stick and applesauce options rather than just fries or tater tots.

Smorgie's is a restaurant in downtown St. Paul known for its laid-back atmosphere and friendly service. The standout bartender ensures that guests receive excellent service, even during busy times. The new brunch menu features a delicious egg bake, fruit, and "hash tag browns" at an unbeatable price. Guests can also enjoy a gooey and warm caramel roll.
The self-service experience allows guests to seat themselves and order via a QR code, making it convenient for everyone. The drinks, although slightly pricey at around $7 each, are worth the cost due to the restaurant's prime location next to the XCEL. Many guests express their desire to return for more of the fantastic offerings.
Visitors have praised the service as fast and friendly, with one mentioning how well the bartender managed a busy bar. Diners have enjoyed the smashburger with tots and ranch, noting the burger's good flavor and melty cheese, although the ranch was found to be watery. The affordable food, great location, and vibrant atmosphere make Smorgie's a popular choice before college hockey games hosted at the XCEL.
