The Blue Door Pub Reviews
I used to love the food at the MSP Blue Pub but lately the quality has been quite poor. Got a classic blucey and it was the size of a slider and vastly overcooked. The tots had been fried for way too long too. Had a hot chicken sandwich last time and it was also not good. They gave me 10% off but I’m thinking I may not come back. Bummer
I loved BDP for years, went to Longfellow BDP and was so dissatisfied in the burger, the main reason to go! My blucy didn’t even have cheese inside. Not to mention the ordering was so impersonal, and the interaction of the “local tavern” you used to go there for is gone. What a sad day to scratch BDP off my list of reliable goto burger pubs in the town cities!!

The Blue Door Pub in Minneapolis Airport provides a decent dining experience for travelers. The service is often friendly and attentive, especially when staff are available, although recent reviews suggest that the restaurant can be short-staffed, leading to longer wait times and limited seating. The menu features juicy burgers, including the popular Blucey Burger, but the selection at the airport location is sometimes limited, which may mean not all menu items are always available. The food is generally high-quality with a good balance of flavors, though some customers have noted that burgers can be overcooked and may lack ingredients like cheese and bacon. It is considered a good spot for a quick bite or drink during a layover, offering a comfortable atmosphere and satisfying cuisine. The restaurant also provides wheelchair accessibility with a ramp to the lower level. Travelers who have visited multiple times mention that the experience can vary—some visits are very good with attentive service and consistent food, while others are disappointing with mediocre food and poor service. Overall, the Blue Door Pub is a recommended place to stop if you want to try a Minneapolis burger joint while passing through the airport.
