“This VFW has become our go to Bingo bar on Monday nights. We love this place, the food, the people, etc. Only gets 4 stars instead of 5 bc they charge for REFILLS of soda from the gun. Thats a horrible business practice. I dont know if they are told to or if the wait staff is just doing it on their own. On top of the charge for refills, the glasses they give you are half the size of any other place I have ever been.“

From the first encounter with owners to save the date and work of the details to the last encounter with their staff closing out the bar bill everything was TOP NOTCH! “I went to Job Sims house for a service call for his air conditioner not working. Jon immediately offered me breakfast as he is a cook at granite city. I politely declined and continued working. After I finished fixing his air conditioner Jon comes out with a plate of food saying it wasn’t in his nature to not give out food. I went back to the shop and ate the best homemade burrito I have ever had. Jon was not only one of the nicest people I have met but also one of the best cooks. You will not be disappointed going to granite city and receiving a meal made by Jon!“
