“This VFW has become our go to Bingo bar on Monday nights. We love this place, the food, the people, etc. Only gets 4 stars instead of 5 bc they charge for REFILLS of soda from the gun. Thats a horrible business practice. I dont know if they are told to or if the wait staff is just doing it on their own. On top of the charge for refills, the glasses they give you are half the size of any other place I have ever been.“

“Amazing food with really great service. Prices are insane for the portions you get! 10/10 highly recommend, huge list of appetizers each as good as the rest. Wouldn't recommend the wings but everything else is top notch and exceeded my expectations for it being so inexpensive!! My favorite waitress is Vicky and she's worked there for 30 years, which is close to how long the place has been open. She makes the atmosphere beautiful and has always been a friendly face, and she's definitely the reason I'm currently a regular!!“

From the smell to decor to signature drinks to stamped ice cubes, the Blue Goose does not disappoint. You can tell that the bartenders take pride in every cocktail or mocktail they make. “Drink selection was average with other Northwoods, off the beaten path bars.The food was good, I'd say average, but would eat there again.The service was good, attentive and nice. Atmosphere was also good, fair amount of seating and TVs.“

“This place has the perfect amount of tap beers. You know they're fresh when there's only a few craft brews, as well as several domestics. Very small, but a cozy quaint place. The size has its advantages. The service is always sparkling. Just a great place to hang.“

The atmosphere was great for a small town bar.Plenty of parking in the lot and it doesn't feel crowded for lunch time.The atmosphere inside was welcoming and enjoyable and not like your pushed in a certain area . It's all open.The times I've been here has only been around lunch and I've never felt crowded or pushed or rushed or had a bad experience.Had the reuben and tater tots and it was a very filling meal. If I'm ever or around the bar again, I will visit this place more.I might even go out of my way when going to St Cloud. It's easy on and off Interstate 94. It's like a 10 minute drive south from the interstate on 23.“

“This was my first time coming here and my first time trying Indian food. It was delicious! I had the lamb chops and they were very tender and flavorful. The Naan is amazing as well. Even tried some kulfi, an Indian ice cream. Everyone there was very friendly. The only issue was that they brought my wife her food very early, it was what she ordered but meant for someone else, so she had to eat while the rest of us waited. Overall though, it was a great experience and I look forward to trying more things on the menu in the future.Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian and vegan options.Parking: There is public parking a block away. Limited steet parking, metered, in front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps inside or out. Doors looked plenty wide for a wheelchair.“

“Wow, this place is a hidden gem! We were impressed. My husband and I came here for the first time for dinner. We ordered the crab stuffed salmon and Drakes chicken boursin (suggester by the server). They were really good! The asparagus was very delicious, and the bread and butter were amazing. I should have gotten more asparagus lol. The server was very warm and friendly. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back!“

“This was the very first bar I came to when I moved to saint cloud. It wasn't my go to bar because it was out of my "jurisdiction". Vfw ended up becoming one of my favorite cornerstones. I ended up being in vfw's neighborhood. If your looking for friendly banter, with a Cheers tv show atmosphere. Come to vfw have a couple drinks and ask for juju. You will fall in love with the many patrons and older veterans who make vfw a very cool place.“

“Blown away. Such a wonderful find! The food, staff, restaurant interior were Top Notch. My father and I came two nights in a row! Salsa so good I could drink it haha! Fajitas were seasoned perfectly. Welcoming atmosphere. I don't dine out very much but Anejos was a Gem!“

“I love historical buildings with speakeasies in the basement.The musician was not decorated to. Actually he was about a two or three but the quaint little bar when you walk in on your left was cool and the little room on your ride where the singer saying while you waited to get into the big easy was very quaint“

“Hey, you've got to check out this place - it's a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered! The atmosphere is so lively, the staff is super friendly, and the food is absolutely amazing. My personal favorite is the caldo de pollo soup - it's so delicious that I find myself craving it all the time! “Have driven by this place numerous times and haven't figured out why we never stopped. The food was wonderful, the service was fabulous and sitting outside by the river was beautiful. Had their chicken tenders and they were super delicious. A very thin coating and seasoned very nicely. The fries were so good, they didn't need ketchup. My husband had the fish and chips and he said everything was extremely good. Our server was very nice and lots of fun. She made our first time visit (but certainly not the last) very enjoyable!!!“
