“This VFW has become our go to Bingo bar on Monday nights. We love this place, the food, the people, etc. Only gets 4 stars instead of 5 bc they charge for REFILLS of soda from the gun. Thats a horrible business practice. I dont know if they are told to or if the wait staff is just doing it on their own. On top of the charge for refills, the glasses they give you are half the size of any other place I have ever been.“

“This was the very first bar I came to when I moved to saint cloud. It wasn't my go to bar because it was out of my "jurisdiction". Vfw ended up becoming one of my favorite cornerstones. I ended up being in vfw's neighborhood. If your looking for friendly banter, with a Cheers tv show atmosphere. Come to vfw have a couple drinks and ask for juju. You will fall in love with the many patrons and older veterans who make vfw a very cool place.“

I was first disappointed that my call to order before I arrived, that went to voice mail.
I only had an hour.
Went down there and the staff was so kind and helpful. It was Labor Day weekend so no one answers the phone I guess.
* * The burger and fries were 10 out of 10!!!
Perfectly cooked, flavor like fine steak.
Fries had coating that I usually don’t like but they were not at all greasy. Excellent in every way.
The waiter kept checking on me with a cold beverage on a 91 degree day.

Staff is very friendly and professional in every aspect when it comes to a bar/restaurant. It's not common these days that you find a well ran business like this one. “We celebrated a birthday party there and it was really fun! There party room has a bunch of disco lights and black lights all over the place. The pizza was okay, it wasn't great but the kids apparently loved it. They have so many different bowling game options as well!“
