“We had the Burger and Fries special. Very tasty. Then were served double chocolate cupcakes made by the owner (complimentary). My Bloody Mary was also excellent. Will make this our go to at least once a week. Would like to see some lower booths and tables instead of all the high tops.“
“I like going to the Middy because there is always a wide range of people there. The drinks are good, the prices are pretty good. Sometimes it can get a little crowded due to the small space. But Will, the owner, is a good manager and knows how to keep the nights fun.“

“I recently stopped in at the Hideaway bar after moving to the area earlier this year. As a bar goes, it’s the kind of place where everybody knows everyone else. Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone, you will soon enough. They have great live music, and the drinks are reasonably priced. Their pizza is better than dominoes, or Pizza Hut, and far better than any bar pizza I’ve ever had. Actually, it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s a perfect fit for this little town.“

The atmosphere was great for a small town bar.Plenty of parking in the lot and it doesn't feel crowded for lunch time.The atmosphere inside was welcoming and enjoyable and not like your pushed in a certain area . It's all open.The times I've been here has only been around lunch and I've never felt crowded or pushed or rushed or had a bad experience.Had the reuben and tater tots and it was a very filling meal. If I'm ever or around the bar again, I will visit this place more.I might even go out of my way when going to St Cloud. It's easy on and off Interstate 94. It's like a 10 minute drive south from the interstate on 23.“
“Wow, this place is a hidden gem! We were impressed. My husband and I came here for the first time for dinner. We ordered the crab stuffed salmon and Drakes chicken boursin (suggester by the server). They were really good! The asparagus was very delicious, and the bread and butter were amazing. I should have gotten more asparagus lol. The server was very warm and friendly. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. We'll definitely be back!“
“This was the very first bar I came to when I moved to saint cloud. It wasn't my go to bar because it was out of my "jurisdiction". Vfw ended up becoming one of my favorite cornerstones. I ended up being in vfw's neighborhood. If your looking for friendly banter, with a Cheers tv show atmosphere. Come to vfw have a couple drinks and ask for juju. You will fall in love with the many patrons and older veterans who make vfw a very cool place.“

“This VFW has become our go to Bingo bar on Monday nights. We love this place, the food, the people, etc. Only gets 4 stars instead of 5 bc they charge for REFILLS of soda from the gun. Thats a horrible business practice. I dont know if they are told to or if the wait staff is just doing it on their own. On top of the charge for refills, the glasses they give you are half the size of any other place I have ever been.“

I called & spoke to Stacy on a very busy Saturday night & she took care of my mistake & issued the gift card! She saved my granddaughter's birthday & me!
