“Fantastic pastries in many varieties. None of the staff were French LOL. Staff doesn't understand English well. I wanted a glass of milk which caused them to become verklempt and they eventually serve me steamed milk! A fairly small place with limited seating.“

“Dropped my teen off for a nearby brunch and decided to stop by to check it out while in the neighborhood. The morning bun was the flakiest and most tasty I've ever had, and their Chai is incredible. “I went to meet a friend today at Apple Valley Perkins. The lot was full. I am disabled. Both senior citizen spots were filled. Three of us got there about the same time so we pulled into spots next to the senior citizen spots. One of the cashiers (long gray hair)came out throwing her arms up in the air and motioning for us to leave. I rolled down my window and she hollered, "THOSE AREN'T PARKING SPOTS!! THERE AREN'T ANY LINES!" She motions like she was making lines on the pavement The other two cars LEFT! I stayed ONLY because I was meeting a friend. SERIOUSLY? This is how you treat your customers? My friend showed up and she parked where I was going to park. The hostess was on the phone so she didn't control the parking. A while later, she came around to all the tables asking who owned the white vehicle out in the lot. We frequent Perkins a lot and have parked in those spots before with no problems. A walk from Petco is a little to much. Especially for a disabled person.“

“We chose Queen of Cakes for our wedding dessert after trying their vegan chocolate cake at a friend’s wedding (it was delicious by normal cake standards, not to mention vegan!).
They were very friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole process; their wedding cake trial is affordable and convenient, and so is ordering and pick-up. We got filled sheet cakes of the vanilla with tripleberry mousse, chocolate with amaretto mousse, and vegan chocolate with raspberry, and a two-tier chocolate with chocolate mousse and chocolate ganache. (The last flavor was suggested by Terry when I asked her for the “chocolatest” flavor, and I am so grateful!) My friend picked them up from the shop on the day of the wedding, which was also so easy.
Our only mix-up was that the chocolate amaretto sheet cake was “lost” by our catering team who cut it and served it, and potentially grouped it with the vegan cake on the dessert table. I don’t know what the labels on the cakes looked like, but I wanted to let you know of the mix-up we had so you can consider it in future packaging/labeling decisions!
Beyond that snafu, though: every flavor was delicious, we got so many compliments, and the servings are generous. Thank you! You truly are the Queen!

I was in the mood for a lox sandwich today and wanted a really good one. I found it! Excellent bagel, a generous portion of lox, tomato, onion and capers! “HUGE authentic tamales. Probably the best tamales I have had in a long time and the very best I have had in the Midwest. I am a native Texan and truck driver, I deliver in Minnesota twice a week and i know something about good Mexican food.Also they are very courteous and the place smells fan freaking tastic. “Not sure what the name is for this bakery item, but it is a kind of cheesecake. The texture is moist, soft, not overly sweet, and has some cream cheese flavor. What’s better is the price. Where can you find a good bakery for affordable price nowadays?!

Plus, they don’t charge you for using card on small $ items, unlike a lot of bakery business that requires cash.

“First time I visited since Veterans Day. Your sticker indicated a three percent service fee due to supply chain issues. Why don’t you just raise your prices to cover those issues. If the supply chaiin issues are solved you can offer a price rollback. I’ll find another place that posts their prices instead of service charging.“

“Baguettes are among my favorites Kouign Aman was something comparable to a honey bun with a way to hard candy shell. Living in Normandy I will say “kouign aman is a labor of love. It can be great or not good, no in between!! Being here I was really missing it. I’ve tried many here in MN and one place has totally blown my mind but the hours are so up and down. Please take your time on a masterpiece patisserie such as the kouign aman!!!!“

“Love Nothing Bundt Cakes. I appreciate the Eden Prairie Location as this is where I often order my cakes or special orders. Always correct, ready on time and taste delicious.Their bundts are super moist and very flavorful. The bundtlettes are big enough to share with one other person and small enough to not over indulge if you have more room.The staff at this location were very friendly. Cute shop that also offers other birthday gifts and cards. Love it and highly recommend!“
