“I placed an order on line. Wait time for carry out was about 20 minutes. Average for calling at noon on a Friday. We ordered a Ruben and Rachel with onion rings and waffle fries. I went there and it was a good amount of people already enjoying their meals. There was a sign to seat yourself. Which puzzled me there was no host to handle online orders. So with a brief wait I managed to manuver through the bar to find a staff member professionally kind to go and get my order. It felt very warm almost hot to the touch through bag giving the impression it just came off the grill. While waiting I observed a clean atmosphere,tables, bar, etc. Staff looked we’ll groomed and engaging to their customers.

Got home and the meal was visually eye appealing. More than ample portions. The onion rings were from whole slices and not minced. Waffle fries are a standard side but not my cup of tea. Portions had a good ratio of meat /saukraut / cheese and dressing to make it a good choice to split between 2 people.. The only hiccup was the pumpernickel bread was a tad over toasted but hey it’s a friday, lunch time, and cold as heck outside. It a good spot in location and will probably order again but this time the fish.

“Incredible birthday dinner last night. Everything was perfect, starting with beautiful, interesting cocktails. We loved the mezcal old fashioned, finished with beautiful smoke from burning corn silk. Extra special is the bone in birria, which I will be dreaming about for many months. Super beefy silken meat, loaded with flavor. Don’t pass on the pork shank if you love roast pork! We had the nicest guy as our server, who was so enthusiastic about the food he brought us and happy to handle our big table complete with kids. I will go back!“

The "C" button doesn't work sometimes, but keep trying, because this place serves some of the best burritos I've had since I moved out of California. Their regular al pastor burrito is only $13, but the serving size is like two Chipotle burritos but with better-quality ingredients. You will leave with an extremely full stomach. Mucho gusto.“
