This bakery is delish but I have ordered multiple cakes from them some simple and this past cake a little more detailed, well let's just say I will only stick to simple from them and go else where for detailed work. I ordered a cake for my dads 70th and it's not what I asked for but it a was similar. I wanted buttercream frosting as per my order I ended up with fondant and the worse part was the seems of the pieces were noticeable. Sals bakery is relatively new establishment, but it is great. Visit at least once a week and found everything they have to be absolutely delicious. My daughter from NJ, recently ordered a custom birthday cake and it was original in design and delicious too. Only trouble is .... It's getting more popular. Went on a recent cold Sunday morning, before 8 am , and it had constant 20 - 30 customers.

So glad Sal's Bakery open in Tottenville because we really can use a good bakery. The staff is very fast helping people and friendly. Everything I've purchased has been delicious.
