“If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I absolutely would without hesitation! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with the warmest welcome. Even though I opted for takeout, the level of care and attention to detail from the staff was exemplary. A beautiful moment caught my eye as I noticed a family observing their fast, and to my surprise, the same gentleman who took my order was graciously preparing tea for them. It was a heartwarming gesture that truly reflected the genuine hospitality of this restaurant. I cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant highly enough. I know for certain that I'll be returning time and time again.“
“Great Gyro sandwiches in beef and chicken flavors, with sides including Spanakopita, special house fried potatoes, sauces and dinner plates with Gyro or chicken meat, salads and other sides. Love the crew always friendly. Not generally open weekends. Beverages available. Eat in or take out. They are expanding so we will see if they have more dining space and change to more days open. Packed during meal times but fast in line and tasty. Best Gyro we found so far. Parking lot tight but easy access and hopefully expanding as well. Convenient right off 90th and Penn!“

They are the most helpful, friendly and welcoming people you will ever know! We received so many compliments on the food and wanted to pass it along to the family and all of our friends!! “Went here for dinner with my wife and brother. We were seated promptly and service was very attentive. The vibe of this place is really interesting, especially the décor.The adult beverage list is extensive and reasonably priced.My brother and I ordered the Wagu Butter Burger - 10/10! Maybe tope 3 burgers I've ever had in my life. It was perfection. The fries were also a cut above.My wife's Mediterranean sampler tasted fine, but she said my burger was better.No complaints at all. “Really really loved this place. The sleek interior with massive windows give such awesome natural light and add to the atmosphere of the restaurant. But the menu was amazing. I had the mock-tail Gazoz, filled with light and fresh herbs and decorated with flowers. Out table had the avocado toast (where seriously the bread was the best centerpiece) and also had the Greek salad. Presentation, atmosphere and great ingredients make this such a fresh experience.“
“The good morning hopkins is a protein delicacy. The team is super fast and never get your order wrong. Cheese curds done perfectly and the alternative menus are awesome. Charging for sauce seems to be par for the course where all restaurants are forwarding growing cost to their customers.“

Favorite sides are Brussels sprouts and grain salad. Hubby likes their fries (they stay crispy on the drive home!). No matter what you get, their sauces are to die for! Favorites are citrus mojo, green mojo and spicy piri piri.We tried the snack wraps for the first time and they were great! $2.99 for a big piece of chicken with yummy sauce. Another fave is the salad with spinach, apple, raisins, pepitas, manchego and chicken salad.Staff are always friendly and accommodate modifications. Even offered a glass of water while we waited for to-go.Check this place out - seriously!!“
“Best gyro in MN! I just came back from Istanbul and Athens a couple of weeks ago and was looking for a place where I can find authentic gyros locally. This is the place! I'm so lucky I found it. We ordered traditional gyros, chicken kebabs, turkish coffee, hummus (with pita bread), and (turkish) blakavas for dessert. “The food was so good that I didn’t even get the chance to take a photo of it! I had the saj shawarma sandwich, which tasted like an authentic Lebanese chicken shawarma wrap. The garlic was as strong as I liked, and the fries were delicious. I think it’s the best fries I’ve had so far! They have this unique double crunch and the perfect level of saltiness. For desserts, I had their Palestinian knefe, and it was perfect, but it must be shared with another person (quite a generous portion). I highly recommend this place!“

“I got the family dinner for two and honestly it was so much food and could probably be good for 2-4 people depending on your appetite! I was surprised by the portion size and it was very generous. I liked that I got to try a little bit of everything. The flavors were as expected, but not anything mind-blowing. The hummus and baba ganoush was tasty. For the value and quality, it's pretty solid and hits the Mediterranean craving. I also got the baklava and kinafa, and those were good ? Their spicy red sauce was also tasty.“

“I wasn’t planning to go here as I was driving on Central Avenue near Fridley. I was actually going to one of my favorite Korean restaurants about half a mile up. As I was driving, I a saw a big tent and a crowd of people. So I flipped around and wanted to check this place out. Looks like they were celebrating Ramadan. I’m glad I saw this place because the food was delicious ?The lamb, beef kabobs, kofta, fresh tabouli and hummus were amazing. There were a lot of other food that I don’t know the names but were equally yummy. It was crazy busy but I think it was because of the celebration they were having.“

Family welcomes you in and the menu offers warm soups and breads, to full service grilled kebabs grilled on site. Friendly service, clean, and they own what seems to be the largest parking lot on University of Minnesota to easily park on site.“
“Loved going to the location on east bank and this one is even better. Beautiful open kitchen with lots of seating. Food is always great and at a fair price. Quick and friendly service. My favorite is the somali steak sandwich and their fries are amazing.“

“The food was great, it was my first time coming here so I wasn't really sure what to order. You get plenty of food for the price, so well worth it. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. There is a nice seating area on the side, which was perfect for a work lunch outing. My coworker did mention that usually the line is pretty long, but we got here around 1:30pm and it wasn't too bad!“
“This place was waaaay better than any fast food spot in the neighborhood! I ordered the cheeseburger and fries, and that came with a can of soda. While the meat seemed to be REAL BEEF, and the French Fries had a really good powder all over them, the soda was generic and gave me a stomach ache. Also I do have to say that if you ain't got at least $10 don't even go in here (unless you only want some French fries!) It's not as affordable as any fast food, but like I said the food is made of better quality ingredients as far as I could tell. The guys working here were really friendly, and I could tell that the majority of their customers are from the neighborhood! Oh yeah, one thing I hate is when a place don't have no napkins, but it's even x10 worse if they ain't got no hand towels in the bathroom, and these guys failed both those tests, so I could only give them 4 stars, and to be 100% honest with you, it was a bit grimey in the eating area and bathroom, the maid must have been off duty that day. But HEY, don't let that stop you from placing your order, support a local spot, and have a happy New Year! Please give this honest review a thumbs up if it was helpful. That way, I know if people are reading them! Enjoy your food, and please stay strong, North Minneapolis 2024 will be a year of many changes in the world.
