“Very friendly folks working there. Food was very good. I got a vegetarian sandwich with dolma, eggplant and falafel. Delicious! It’s counter service so it is not fancy, which was fine with me! Casual, friendly atmosphere.”

“My husband and I were in the area so we decided to stop in. We were on a time crunch so we ordered some easy stuff such as finger foods and fried rice. I was in the mood for something beefy but wasn't really in the mood for pho or anything soupy so I ordered the beef bulgogi instead. The food took a while to be served but the server was pretty cool so we didn't mind. When we got our food, the finger food was pretty good. The spicy fried chicken we ordered was good. The fried rice was bland. The bulgogi, however was disappointing. Instead of using a type of meat with some marble in it, they used the eye round, the leanest part of the cow, and grilled it up. I get it. It's already sliced thinly for pho but the eye round pieces that was used was pretty thick. The whole thing was dry and chewy. There was barely any sauce glazed over the meat. Please don't be cheap. If you're going to put a certain dish on your menu, serve it properly with the correct type of meat. If you don't want to use a more expensive cut such as ribeye, which is the correct section of beef to use, then go with the chuck meat. We hear good things about the sushi so maybe next time we'll stop in for that.”

“They serve super tasty, fresh sandwiches, salads and so much more! I love their Oriental salad and Zany Mullany sandwich combo. Open for breakfast too, Service is fast and prices are very reasonable. The staff is so fun -- I always come away happy that I stopped in!”

“This place is a solid dive bar that takes you right back to the '70s. It's not fancy, just good drinks at great prices. The place is super relaxed, and the crowd is friendly and laid-back. It’s in the heart of downtown. This bar is an adults type place, though—wouldn't recommend bring the kids. If you're looking for a no-frills spot to grab a drink and relax, this is it. Highly recommend!”

“Haven’t been here in a long time and picked it up last nite. Highly recommend! All dishes we got were fresh and delicious! My daughter has celiac and sam said anything on the menu can be gluten free, she loved the chicken and broccoli and he even packaged it separately to ensure it was safe for her. Highly recommend!”

“My daughter and I went here because I was on the search for an amazing Affogato. They did not disappoint. The owner was super sweet to my daughter and pulled strawberry gelato out of the freezer even though it wasn’t on their menu that day. All of the gelato we had was amazing and the customer service was even more amazing. We give this place 5 out of 5 stars, and we will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

They've done some changeover recently and the new bar manager was absolutely LOVELY!! so lovely, inviting and willing to step outside the menu to create something delicious! “A absolute gem of a restaurant in White Bear Lake. In town visiting family & so enjoyed our first time here last night. Very cool & well designed with a great vibe, beautiful bar area where you can comfortably dine also. Which is aso the main diningroom with views of the kitchen & Chefs creations. Food was out of the park; 2 chicken entrees & the Walleye-and let's not forgot the delicious chocolate mousse dessert! Will always plan a dinner here we visit again.”

“Everything is always delicious and the staff is friendly and attentive. Best bacon in town, perfectly cooked and amazing flavor. Lots of the menu is offered as a full meal or ala carte which is really nice when you want a smaller breakfast or want to mix and match. Last week I got the southwest tortilla wrap, basically a breakfast burrito, delicious!”
