“I just have to share my experience at The Doghouse Bar & Grill! I visited back in November to watch The HYPE, and wow, what an amazing venue. It was hands down one of the best spots I’ve been to, and I can’t thank the staff enough for making it such a memorable time. I was in town celebrating my last week up north before heading off to the National American Miss nationals, and let me tell you, being there was a huge stress reliever during a time that’s normally pretty hectic for me. Nationals can be a lot to manage, and being at The Doghouse helped take my mind off the nerves and truly enjoy the moment. From the moment I walked in, the staff and everyone around made me feel so welcomed. There’s something about a place that has a warm, friendly atmosphere, and The Doghouse absolutely has that. It’s not just about the great food, drinks, and entertainment—it’s about the people too. They were all incredibly kind and made my experience that much better. It’s definitely a spot that holds a special place in my heart now! As Miss Wisconsin Covergirl, I’m thrilled to be back in April. I’m counting down the days, and the timing is perfect because, as many of you know, National American Miss State pageant is in June, so this will be the perfect way to relax and recharge before the next big step in my journey. I’m looking forward to making more memories at The Doghouse Bar & Grill and I can’t wait to visit again soon! If you haven’t been there yet, trust me, it’s a must! “The food was excellent , hats off to the chef , this son and Mom were sitting next to us their chicken dinner looked fab, will be going back for that , my friend and I had burgers , onion rings and chips the rings were cooked perfectly. Prices for the food were fantastic , not expensive at all. Loved all the Hamm's Bear stuff, my dad retired from there . Great place keep up the good job!!“

“We came to Stillwater for a nighttime get away and stumbled upon Sal’s. We were seated immediately, greeted by our waitress, Penny with a smile and great conversation! The menus had great variety and was delicious! This place is worth the trip for us and we WILL be back! Thanks Penny for your awesome service that made our visit that much better!“

“We came here with the promise of some great Coneys, and we were not disappointed. Yeah the place is a bit of a dive, but that definitely adds to the charm. The apps we had (fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks) were delicious, but those Coneys... OH MY GOD!!! Absolutely delicious! I had 2 but I could've easily downed 2 more. So good, and what was especially impressive that every one of the 5 total that we had looked exactly the same. The consistency of the cook is often overlooked at other places, but not here. Top notch! Also, our bartender Jade (sp?) was super friendly and always on top of anything we needed. Very funny too. A little bit of humorous commentary made for an even better experience.

As I said, the Coneys are to die for, but I would also recommend the Reuben egg roll. I got one after I was finished with the dogs, and it was absolutely amazing!

Gopher Bar is definitely the place to check out if you are a Coney Dog fan. And if you're not, there's plenty of other options to try that all looked incredible when I scanned the menu. Also, and this is yet another reason to choose The Gopher, the prices are very cheap. I wouldn't have expected to get full for under $20 anywhere these days, but they certainly did it! I'm actually getting hungry again just typing this! 😅

“We had a table of 12 people at Red Rock Bar & Grill on Easter Sunday (3/31/24). The food was very good and we enjoyed having a private dining room for our family. Our servers ( Mimi and Aiden) were not only good at their jobs, but very likeable and engaging with our group. We had family from Eau Claire, WI, Spring Valley, WI, Somerset, WI, Wyoming, MN, Inver Grove Heights, Woodbury and Cottage Grove, MN in our group. “I love this bar, I come in and spend money all the time. I buy drinks for people and always tip the bartenders and servers. Today I came in looking to conserve money because I’m getting hit with school loans. I ask the bartenders if I could just tip a dollar and hang out and he says no. I ask my buddy Dave if he can cover a soda but he’s tapped. So I oblige and go to my wallet and pull out a 5 to pay for a half order of fries. The bartender denies me service and accuses me of getting the money from bar partrons. This is MY money that I earned and here I am willing to spend it in order to follow their rules of no hanging out without spending money.

This man damn near lost me as a customer. I’ve spend hundreds of dollars at this establishment over the last few months.

I still think this is a great bar and the other staff are fantastic, the food is great and people are generally friendly( as friendly as Minnesota can be).

This bartender will never receive a tip From me again. Pissed off that I’ve tipped him in the past.
I just played pull tabs since he literally denied me service.

“Love this place!! Bacon cheeseburger sliders and cauliflower bites both fantastic! only small disappointment is the change to the new square pretzel bites… I know it sounds strange but the other ones were phenomenal! We even went to Lumberjacks to see if they were still serving them
