Great little place to get food and dessert that's been around for what feels like forever. So whether or not you live nearby or just passing through to get to Rochester or LA Crosse you should check it out.
Oh what fun ! An April Saturday, a roadtrip and a chance encounter with Penguin Zesto in Winona, Minnesota. Delightful decor, the food was tasty, I LOVE their menu, even learned about a paddlewheel ice cream treat. Not far from St. Stan's in Winona. Very Cool--not too far from the Watkins Plant and the Polish Museum. The Onion Rings and Fries were very good--I really enjoyed my quarter pound cheeseburger with all the fixin's-- What a wonderful throwback ! Thanks Penguin Zesto...read full review

Penguin Zesto is open seasonal so you are out of luck for about half the year.Stop by when they are open though for great sweet treats and standard American food like dogs and burgers.They have two locations one on the East side and one on the WestA Winona tradition ?
