“Please ensure you retain your receipt for a week or so, until your transaction clears from your bank. On 2/15, we dined and We paid with our debit card. We also provided a $20 cash tip to our waiter name Eve. We are perplexed as to how we were overcharged. The tipping section on our bill was crossed off by us. It does not make sense for us to be overcharged. We will be contacting you again to discuss this matter further. The amount on the receipt differs from the amount you charged us. There is a discrepancy of $30. Could you please clarify the reason for this overcharge?!! We've called multiple times and everytime, you guys said there were no management on duty. smfh!!“

“We got our meals to go this past weekend. Osaka has perfected their takeout orders. Not only was the Hibachi chicken and shrimp with fried rice perfectly cooked and seasoned, but their to go order packaging was phenomenal. They even packaged the soup, salad and extra yum yum sauce perfectly. The young man at the front of house was incredibly friendly and our food was ready a couple minutes earlier than stated time. You get so much food with Hibachi dinners we had enough leftovers for dinner the following day as well. I absolutely recommend this location!“

“We were a group of five women celebrating our Fall birthdays. Our server was Erik Olafson. He was friendly, fun, polite, respectful, efficient and made our meal very enjoyable. Food was excellent. We had pineapple flatbread, tomato basil soup, Mediterranean salad and shrimp sushi. Each was delicious . We also each received a complementary brownie with ice cream for dessert with flaming candles! A spectacular presentation. We all agreed it was our best birthday lunch ever. Kudos to Erik for making it so much fun.“

“The "Kiss of the Geisha" sushi roll was some of the best sushi that I have ever had. We asked for a recommendation from the friendly server, and that roll hit the spot! Spicy, crunchy, and the fish and crab were excellent quality. Good portion of Wasabi on the side. The saki options offered were great as well. Sitting at the sushi bar is a fun and entertaining experience. Great sushi chefs and great servers.“

“Me and my wife, along with our daughter and her husband, had an all you can eat lunch at the Maplewood Tokyo Sushi on August 31, 2025. The service was first-rate, and the sushi was fantastic. Instead of a buffet where the sushi is pre-made, Tokyo Sushi makes each item as it is ordered and brings it to your table. So the fried items arrived piping hot, and the sushi rolls arrive right after they are made. The food is really excellent. Price was about $23.00 a person. A bit pricey, but the value was incredible and well-worth the expense.“
