“NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY !! They were randomly closed on a Wednesday, which is fine, however their website DID NOT provide this information ! I ordered my food, they took my money, and the confirmation said that the pick up would be the following day . So I went to the location to see what was going on and that's when I saw the sign in the window claiming they were closed . They have NO option to cancel your order once you've made it so I had to wait to the following day to call . They refuse to refund me my money - I'm only in office one day a week , I'm not driving 35 minutes to pick up food that I wanted the day before ! Whoever answered the phone kept talking over me and cutting me off , she admitted that they don't have a way to cancel an order once it's made (which is ridiculous, I could've just canceled it that day and we wouldn't be in this situation ) I explained to her over and over again that their website DID NOT state that they were closed but she didn't care ! Long story short they got $20 out of me and lost a customer for life !“

“Definitely a hidden gem in MSP- great staff, including Esmeralda, who is very kind and attentive. The bar is very clean, it is a quiet since it is removed from the main walkway, and the sushi is very tasty. My favorite is the Paisley Roll.

This food woke all of my senses for spring. I’ll be back.“

I actually felt like I was taking advantage of the place. The menu includes so many options; the rolls looked beautiful and tasted even better. The sashimi pieces were large and delicious. The fish all tased very fresh. It wasn’t terribly busy but our server Lulu checked up on us just as we were finishing our serving to see what else we wanted so there was a steady stream of food coming our way. She was very friendly and happy to answer questions. You do have to finish your servings though. Like, it is actually policy. Not a problem, though. No fish gets left behind! If you love sushi then you really need to come to Samurai. I have tried almost every place around and this has been one of, if not THE best of them all and easily top of the list for the price!“

“This is my favorite place to grab lunch on the weekdays. Quick and easy ordering through a kiosk. Food comes out quite quickly. I highly recommend the volcano roll, it’s an explosion of flavors in your mouth. Very fresh fish, friendly staff, and the music makes you want to dance!! For non sushi eaters- they have chicken options, the bang bang chicken bowl is another favorite.“

“Fiancé ran over to get some take out. I asked for the steamed veggies/white rice from the diet menu. He knows I don't like mushrooms, so he asked if the dish had them. It does, but they prepared an order without them for me. Those veggies were WONDERFUL, and the white rice was perfect--(NOT all dried out, like some places). The sauce that was included may have been for the veggies, or may have been for fiancé's order of beef w/peapods and mushrooms...either way, there was plenty; and it was wonderful on my rice and veggies! “Ive worked in multiple kitchens over the course of 8+ years and the short rib here was easily one of the best meals I have ever eaten! Wish I had taken a pic but it was quickly, and throughly, devoured! My husband had the pesto pasta which was also divine, light and lemony, perfect springy pasta dish. Our server Hannah was a delight! I dont often leave reviews but was compelled after having such a lovely dinner. I will be raving about that soy honey glazed short rib for months and hopefully will be back for more soon.“
