I needed a treat, and did I ever get one in my bag of takeout tonight from Midori’s Floating World Cafe (in their temporary Seward Cafe location). The dumplings, entrees, and dessert were exquisitely prepared, with flavorful sauces and broths. Glad I splurged on the Daifuku: it was a little work of edible art. This food woke all of my senses for spring. I’ll be back.
My tofu teriyaki was nicely mildly seasoned: the tofu and all the vegetables were cooked perfectly: carrots, sweet potato, sweet peppers, mushrooms, baby corn, broccoli, asparagus, maybe others. I also had several nigiri and especially liked the scallops. Delicate miso soup came free.

Beautifully tranquil place, lovely name, so relaxing to eat our delicious takeout sushi rolls there with peaceful percussive ambient music in the background.
