“We went here for our daughters sixth birthday. What a great time. Our chef Michael was amazingly entertaining 1000 stars! She's already asking to go back for her 7th birthday!
Kid-friendliness: Such a great experience!“

“Alexis has amazing service! Definitely ask for her! The food is worth the price for a server like her? my night was almost ruined by another customer and she made sure it was so great! I would definitely come here again especially for her! She’s so adorable and sweet as pie??“

“Great quality tuna, but what really surprised me was the *superb* quality of their yellowtail. *Definitely* not what I was expecting in such a small town restaurant, it’s hard to find yellowtail that quality even in restaurant cities of 10× the population. The pork belly in the ramen was nice, too, and the noodles have a nice texture and chewiness. Unfortunately the eggs were overboiled (green at the edges) so I can’t give a perfect 5-star rating, but wow, next time you’re in Stillwater and looking for a decent Japanese place, go here. Friendly, attentive waitress as well.“

“One of the better AYCE Sushi options in the St Paul area, certainly better than what I assume is its sister location Kyoto Sushi in Roseville.
You'll always find something good on the menu when you visit, but consistency changes from visit to visit. You can have an absolutely stellar white tuna sashimi one week and the next it might be rather lacking. If you were disappointed by something you like to order the first time you were here, I recommend giving it a try again if you revisit.
Same goes for service staff - my most recent visit had around 40% (not hyperbole) of our requests either be misheard or just not come out but that's probably the worst I've had it, it's not usually THAT bad. Still, I usually expect 1-2 wrong/forgotten items per visit. Still, since it's all-you-can-eat I usually eat the mistakes too, they're still tasty :P
Depending on the time of day, especially weekend dinner times, it can get pretty packed and noisy - make sure to reserve over the phone if you plan to come then. It's pleasantly quiet and quick service at a time like 4:00 though.
It may sound like it's a negative review, but despite being inconsistent with what you get delivered to your table, I've consistently still left satisfied. Good eats
Parking: Parking lot is mildly small and can really fill up during peak dinner hours, especially during the weekend.“

“DO NOT RECOMMEND. I’ll start with the good. Sushi rolls were decent - taste-wise. Now the bad. I ordered what I thought would be a lot of rolls for a special occasion for two people. I was wrong. I got home and was disappointed in the amount of food we got compared to the amount we paid. Rolls are pretty small. One roll had thinly sliced strawberries wrapped around it, which was unexpected and disappointing when I was expecting it to be wrapped in fish. We spent a considerable amount on dinner and were still hungry.“
