It's the kind of place that makes you feel right at home. The food: I went for the adult grilled cheese, but as a veggie enthusiast, I skipped the bacon and added some fresh jalapenos for that extra kick. Trust me, it was 😋! And those crinkle fries? Pure yum. My mini food critic, Buggie, went for the taco salad and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. She's 12, so her taste buds are still a work in progress, but hey, as long as it makes her happy, right? 😄 As for my husband, he tackled the bacon cheeseburger. Now, here's where things got interesting. The food arrived piping hot, but the location of the Village Inn has some wild intersections, and guess what? A car accident unfolded right before our eyes. my old man had to rush out to help (he's a firefighter), so he ended up eating his burger cold. But guess what? It still hit the spot. In a nutshell, the Village Inn is a gem in Wyoming, MN. Cozy vibes, satisfying food, and even a dash of adrenaline thanks to the intersection drama. 🚗💥”

“Stopped in on a cold MN Saturday and had their wonderful fried rice and egg rolls. Food was very flavorful and hot. Can’t wait to come back.”

“As a former employee, I miss working with one of the best teams I've ever had. As a 3:00 customer, I was astonished to see how fast the food is actually handed out. The restaurant was way cleaner than most others despite the black ice in the parking lot. I was absolutely shocked to see how clean the tables were especially after visiting other fast food restaurants. Even after a good amount of time working there, I never really knew how fast/clean everything was. In all honesty, if I could work there again, I absolutely would in a heartbeat.”

“This place is a bit eclectic, but in the best way possible. The barbacoa, chicken burrito, and Philly steak sandwich were excellent. The Philly steak sandwich has a decent amount of marinade from the meat, so it probably wouldn't hold up too well for takeout, but it is definitely worth a try if you are dining in. The seasoning on everything was very impressive and flavorful. A word of warning on the burrito sauce, I thought it was amazing, but it definitely packs a fair amount of heat. Not quite Thai level 10 hot, but it is hotter than sirracha sauce. Overall, this is a wonderful place with fast and fantastic service. If you are looking for some tasty non-chain food, I recommend giving this place a shot!”

Ditch the dry ass raspberry scone and get the Danish! 😂 Great service fairly quick this location does get super busy at peak times.”

“Arby’s, They have the meats! They had the 5 for 5 deal so it fed all of us. Can’t wrong with the jalapeño poppers and the bucking berry sauce. The curly fries and potato cakes were hot and fresh. The chocolate shake is pretty tasty too.”

“Our first time visiting this establishment. I’m happy we did! This restaurant has (by far) the BEST Chinese and sushi in Minnesota.

Parking: Parking is free and very open. Many spaces to park. Not at all a far distance either.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of booth space. If your children enjoy sushi like ours, it’s perfect. There are other amazing Chinese combo dishes that most children will enjoy (smaller portions but with a variety of three things). The sesame chicken combo was perfect for kids. We will definitely get that again.. but it’s hard not to try something else different because there are many options (and everyone’s different plate was absolutely amazing) !”
