“on 2/27/2024 we experienced some less than desirable meals from DQ. We called and asked for it to be made right. After speaking with Chargo (I hope I'm respectful of his name), he said to come back and we would have the meals replaced. What a nice man he was. Going ABOVE and beyond, as a manager should with a customer that isn't 100% satisfied. Then..... the day of replacement came..... went up to the location, went inside, and spoke with him along with the receipt, as requested. Whether it was a communication mishap from the request via the phone 2 days earlier or something, either way it wasn't clear. He offered to replace the chicken, and not the whole meal. I wasn't happy with that outcome, as I only get a limited time for lunch, and I didn't have time to go and get new chicken that same day. Furthermore, who wants just chicken tenders for lunch? Not me. This is the portion where the person that I will only describe as the "not DQ outfitted, jeans lady" came over. She asked why I didn't bring the rest of the meal back the same day? We always make our food fresh. I don't know why it was hard... Well.... here is a lesson learned...... Next time, "I am sorry that this happened, what do we need to do to make it right?" that's it! You did it then! You made it right! As for the chicken fiasco.... Chik-Fil-A is right down the street. Maybe you can get some pointers from them about freshness!“
“I ordered an ice cream cake online to pick up at the Clayton store. I usually buy 1-2 cakes a year for family parties as everyone loves them. I’ve been doing this for years; I definitely know the rules regarding the ordering process and was sure to follow them accordingly. I showed up to pick up my cake today—and it turns out the store was closed! Noooo! I really wish they had bothered to let me know. ? After an initial panic, I called the Big Bend location and they were open. I sped over there (it’s out of my way) and got a replacement cake. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Thank you, Big Bend location, for helping me out and making the birthday boy happy. Special thanks to Lawrence and Angela for being so accommodating and so nice to a frazzled customer! ♥️“
