“I am from Manitoba, Canada/ IBEW Local 2034 and attended the KC International Lineman Rodeo this past weekend with our Manitoba team. Our group stayed in an OP hotel, not far from Revel. I popped in 2 nights consecutively searching for an NA brew. Ciara was engaging and more than willing to provide input about available brews… sharing what she had tried herself. They were very tasty and she was the Hostess with the Mostest! She took the time to engage in conversation with me and her other patrons. We had some geography lessons and then I educated her about Canadian currency/ bills… I left her a pretty blue $5 Cdn note which she was thrilled to have as a souvenir… despite it’s meager $3.60 US value?… big spender right ??‍♂️! A few of us arrived at Guitars n Cadillacs last night and had the good fortune of bumping into Ciara and her husband Parker… super cool guy… as they were enjoying a night out together. Being the amazing ambassador that she is, Ciara introduced me and my colleagues to her husband and we had fun socializing awhile. This brand of hospitality and kindness will keep us Linemen coming back! The only suggestion I could make would be that perhaps Revel management may consider marking the annual KC Linemen Rodeo on their calendar. Hint hint…. Linemen love food and booze… and there are many of us staying in the OP area each year! Hope to see you next year Ciara! “I took my negative review down for the Corner Bar due to the impact it had on the establishment. It was not the actual business that I was targeting it was the employee whom is no longer employed there. I actually like the bar and have had fun there. I have played pool and enjoyed myself socially in the lovely picnic type area for smoking in the back. The extra drink perks are great too! I’m talking about the variety of jelly shots! They were awesome and cheap too!! U will have a fun evening of casual entertainment from the patrons and bartender at the Corner Bar!!

Kid-friendliness: Kids are better left at home so u can let ur hair down and kick it like adults!!“

“Nice place, good food, and great service but the light fun atmosphere just tanked when the manager walked by. Not what you want to see on a Saturday night at this price point! It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. Sometimes it’s watching the way someone treats others that ruins a nice time more than anything. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.“

“No hype here. Just good quality comfort and reliable service. I don't love this type of food on the regular, but for bar food and basics, they do a great job and have a good variety of options. Their pizzas are good, the Italian sandwich delicious, and my favorite are their homemade potato chips. Plus it's easy in, easy out, with spacious booths, perfect for taking my mother-in-law, who needs a little assistance getting around. And wear whatever you want! Oh, and no one side glances you if you (or your partner, in my case) orders a whiskey at lunchtime.“

“Ok folks this place is awesome! The long wait is over. It sure didn't disappoint on the service and pub food. The food is outstanding. Hats off to the cook or cooks! The menu has excellent pub grub. Not bar food at all. Fresh and delicious. I had the Chili Cheese Dog. The dog was excellent and would love to know where they buy them! The chili was made from scratch! Best chili cheese dog I have eaten. The pizza come in all serving sizes and looked delicious. The bar staff is engaging and are actually happy to see you! My new spot!“

“Brass Onion is an awesome restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is great. I have been there several times and never had a bad experience. There is an exceptional young lady who my guest and I have had the pleasure to serve us named Tianna she is Fabulous and provides phenomenal service. Tianna deserves a BONUS she is one of the reasons I keep going back to the Brass Onion. Plus the good food along with the hospitality of Rob the manager too.“

She even remembered our drink orders throughout the night, which was a nice touch. A true hustling bartender, she was running circles around the others behind the bar. “We have not been to Chilis grill and bar for a long time. Decided to go there tonight and it was phenomenal. Ordered the double decker burger and it reminded me of cooking out on the grill at home. This burger had everything for outdoor cooking, the flavor, the tenderness, the taste and the leftover juice to remind you that you made the right choice.

We are going back soon and more often.
