“I’m always on the hunt for a place with great potato skins, and Pine Street Bar and Grill did not disappoint. After finding them online, my husband grabbed takeout about a month ago — potato skins, a BLT, and a tenderloin — and everything was absolutely amazing. We finally went in person last night with our son and daughter-in-law, and the food was just as fantastic the second time around. On top of that, the atmosphere has that perfect casual, hometown feel that makes you want to stay awhile. Our waitress (who may also be the owner?) was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and clearly cares about the place and the people who walk through the door. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!“

“If you're looking for a quite place to go during the day, then I recommend you to try it out. They don't sell any food except some frozen pizza's to eat if you're feeling a little tipsy, eat a pizza too before you hit the road, just suggestion, LoL 😆“

“Nice place, good food, and great service but the light fun atmosphere just tanked when the manager walked by. Not what you want to see on a Saturday night at this price point! It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. Sometimes it’s watching the way someone treats others that ruins a nice time more than anything. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.“

“One of our favorite places! Try the Chinese pot roast, the almond chicken asparagus, the chicken with black bean sauce, the scallion biscuits, the duck wrap… everything we’ve had at Blue Koi has been great.“

Service was fast. I did take the sweet and spicy to go. So delicious. What I like about Southside is that it's very multicultural. So I saw many groups from all types of ethnicities and cultural backgrounds there. People in suits. People in casual wear. People with babies. Its just warm And welcoming. “Definitely a very nice staff. Feels really crammed inside though. I had ordered a catering order and I understand it was last minute but they told me they were able to do it. I called about 45 mins to an hour before scheduled pick up to make sure it would still be ready on time and the lady said you’re scheduled for this time so yes it will ready in a sarcastic tone. Okay I was just asking because if it was going to be later then I would come later instead of standing there waiting no big deal. So I get there at my scheduled time and it took them a good 10 minutes just to get my bill together. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes for the food. Granted I ordered the bare minimum for a catering order. Again I get I ordered it same day but don’t say you can do it by a certain time if you cannot. I’m a very understanding person but I ended up being late to where I needed to go because of waiting so long. They also have you wait at the bar which I don’t feel comfortable with because 1. I’m not trying to sit down to pick up food and 2. I’m taking up a spot that someone could be sitting in. Other than that the food wasn’t horrible just very mediocre.“

“This place is one in a million!!!! Very hole in the wall, but modern. The double decker tacos are too die for. Also, they have great specials everyday. I had to go back for steak night and the way it's seasoned, just melts in your mouth. Nicole or Nico as she goes by is phenomenal!!! Her service and attention to everything is impeccable!!! I never had an empty cocktail. Check this place out if you're in the area. Nicole will make sure you have a great time and great laughs.“

The food is a little bit too pricey for the portion. But still really, really good. Everything was fresh. The steak in the deep fried chimichanga. “Brass Onion is an awesome restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is great. I have been there several times and never had a bad experience. There is an exceptional young lady who my guest and I have had the pleasure to serve us named Tianna she is Fabulous and provides phenomenal service. Tianna deserves a BONUS she is one of the reasons I keep going back to the Brass Onion. Plus the good food along with the hospitality of Rob the manager too.“

“Wow. I couldn’t tell you the last review I left. Me and my girl came here Saturday at 10 and the food was incredible. Just chicken tenders and breadsticks (they call them mozz sticks but they’re cheese filled breadsticks) they were great. Literally amazing. Fries too. “We hosted my son’s 8th Birthday here and opted to include a private party room and the outdoor patio was an added bonus. Our party host Dana was very attentive and the kids all had a blast! The food buffet was ready and hot, our server got all the kids drinks right and was quick to refill and get us anything else we needed. Keagan also stepped in and helped when my son’s game bracelet wouldn’t scan. I would highly recommend this establishment for your party needs. Well worth the cost and not having to clean up after!“

“I think the real testament of a good restaurant is not how they handle things when everything goes right...but how they handle when things go wrong. Had a rough visit a couple days before Christmas with the culmination finally being a steak not cooked to the temperature we requested... The manager on duty who took our complaint blew me out of the water. He acknowledged the issue and apologized and took respons for the problem, which is BIG for me. He solved the main problem that required his attention and was pleasant the entire time. I would 100% come back and give my business again. This ended as a pleasant experience!“
