“East 40 is a community hub and a vibe. The patio is carefully curated with heaters and live music all the time. They have events all the time with live music or yoga or vendors. Dogs are allowed outside on the spacious and sunny patio. They even have soda and cocktails and wine and cider! Oh also skew ball and games.“

“my husband and I have a little ritual coming to this Dutch every week when we run our errands together. Staff is friendly, and they work fast enough. Line busters are quick to come out to the line. I personally am a shy quiet gal so sometimes I avoid coming here if I'm by myself and not in the mood to chat, but I don't fault the baristas for it. Just maybe a note to management to let conversations be organic rather than forcing it on customers haha :')“

“Fun local brewery. very eclectic decor. Arcade games, table top games, great place to hang out for an evening in downtown LS. Some of the beers are hit or miss but generally quite nice. Established brewery but hard to find outside of their flagship location.“

“All I can say is WOW! My husband & I went here for the first time last Friday and from the moment we stepped it we had the best dining experience we’ve ever had in the Kansas City area. Our server was Kortney and she was nothing short of AMAZING. She was attentive and made sure we were happy with our experience. Our drinks were always refilled at the halfway point, she checked on us at all of the perfect times and it was clear she was on top of it! She was friendly, attentive, & provided some seriously top-notch service. We ordered the crap dip to start and oh my goodness it was so delicious we were tempted to order another or. The dip was overflowing the bowl and everything was so FRESH. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and he said it was literally melting in his mouth. I ordered the roots burger and was impressed that someone could take a cheeseburger & make it THAT GOOD. We will absolutely be back! From the atmosphere to the service to the food - EVERY single aspect exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend this place enough!“

“This place is great! Enjoyed my first experience here. Cool atmosphere and I enjoyed the music (this night it was mostly rock cover songs). Very friendly service and they were helpful with recommendations. I had a flight and personally wasn’t a big fan of the kolsch but everything else I tried was fantastic. They have some good food options if you’re looking for a snack as well. I’d definitely come back!“

“Today was my first time visiting scooters, I pulled in through their drive-thru and the kind girl, Danica on the microphone made sure if I had any questions she could help. I told her what I liked, what I didn’t like, and how I was feeling and she gave me some options. I ended up getting the black and white which she recommended blended and a cookie. I enjoyed the mocha and hot cookie and her service made it even better! Keep it up Danica!“

“Cool little old pub in downtown Lee’s Summit. Building materials all seem original giving the place a cool old time feel. The food was delicious with Happy Hour deals making every appetizer $6. I ordered the bones and a pizza, both of which were good. For those that have experienced Pyramid Pizza’s bones, these are good, but not quite at the same level. I would recommend coming here to any friend or family member.“

“The food is great! There is a nice gameroom for the kids. Service is lacking though. There are quite a few people helping, but no one really checking if you need something frequently enough. Also, if someone is drinking alcohol, they're probably going to drink more if you would come around and ask...🤷‍♂️“
