“I have been to this location a few times since they opened, and I've always had a great experience.
The gyro (beef/lamb) is always so moist/juicy. I've been to other Greek places and the meat is super dry. I love we have another Greek option in Lee's Summit, besides Sahara Mediterranean. Greek is my all time favorite food and I will definitely be making Nick The Greek a frequent stop.“

“All I can say is WOW! My husband & I went here for the first time last Friday and from the moment we stepped it we had the best dining experience we’ve ever had in the Kansas City area. Our server was Kortney and she was nothing short of AMAZING. She was attentive and made sure we were happy with our experience. Our drinks were always refilled at the halfway point, she checked on us at all of the perfect times and it was clear she was on top of it! She was friendly, attentive, & provided some seriously top-notch service. We ordered the crap dip to start and oh my goodness it was so delicious we were tempted to order another or. The dip was overflowing the bowl and everything was so FRESH. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and he said it was literally melting in his mouth. I ordered the roots burger and was impressed that someone could take a cheeseburger & make it THAT GOOD. We will absolutely be back! From the atmosphere to the service to the food - EVERY single aspect exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend this place enough!“

“This sandwich shop has the best gluten free bun. I have always loved their sandwiches, but it is 30 miles from my house. Before my gluten issues I always got the pumpernickel bun. The gluten free bun is not gritty, too sweet, or tasteless. Schlotzsky's have always had fresh vegetables on their sandwiches. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restrooms and seating area are always clean. I only wish there was a Schlotzsky's closer to home.“

“Really a 4.5. Mini Mia is a nice meal with many options for the salad and pizza. Update 2.6.26: visited with another couple to have a dinner out. Ordering was easy and the girl helping us was patient as we asked many questions. I'm not sure who our waiter really was because so many different people on staff came to bring us our drinks, food, fill our drinks and take our plates. My multi-meat was fantastic...... so rich that I'm glad it was a small pizza. So staff great; Atmosphere great; Food great.“

“I finally tried Raising Cane’s today. I’ve always wondered what all the glowing reviews added up to, and after my visit, it felt like a pretty standard dining experience.

The restaurant itself was nice—clean, attractive, and with plenty of room to dine in. Service was quick and friendly, which definitely stood out.

The food, though, was fairly average. The wrinkle fries were lukewarm, and I’ll admit I’ve got a bit of an axe to grind when it comes to cold fries. It feels like more places are slipping on serving food fresh, and this visit didn’t change that impression. The chicken strips were crispy, but they seemed like they’d been sitting just long enough to lose that fresh-out-of-the-fryer magic.

Nothing really jumped out at me as “this is why Cane’s is the authority on chicken.” Honestly, it didn’t feel much different from grabbing fried chicken at a grocery store across the street.

That said, I wouldn’t rule it out—I’d go back if the mood struck. At least now I know exactly what to expect.“

“I love Andy's Frozen Custard! I totally recommend ordering outside when it is nice. They have a game of Bags, Tic Tac Toe, ect. I really enjoy coming here to get a nice, cold, we'll made concrete. I would recommend a chocolate concrete with oreos in it. It is so delicious!
I also want to talk about how polite their employees are. They always say Thank You, Please, You're Welcome, ect.

“Kylie was amazing!!! I've been to this restaurant before and have always loved the food and service but Kylie was super fun! And super chill after I poured water all over myself on accident. She had excellent timing and even when the eggs didn't come out right she immediately remedied the situation. I'm sure her competition, Sam, is a wonderful server as well, however we are team Kylie! Boo Sam. Yay Kylie!!

“Came in on a random Tuesday afternoon and we were not disappointed. We got the basic pizza and salad lunch weekday special and LET. ME. TELL. YOU. I have never inhaled an 8” pizza so fast in my life. SO SO delicious. Service was great and atmosphere was relaxed. Will definitely be back when we are in the area!“

“AMAZING! I'm an east-coast guy living in the Midwest who's been looking for a great place for fresh seafood (sorry Red Lobster) for over 6 years. This diamond in the rough exceeded my expectations. While the majority of the US can't even find a place that serves King Crab (due to supply and demand escalated cost), I found a place that not only has it but has it at a very reasonable price. I had 1/2 lb King Crab, 1/2 lb Snow Crab, and 1/2 lb of shrimp. We must have been there for over an hour while I picked out every piece of crab meat. The way the dish came out was neat (I won't ruin the surprise). I also highly recommend the sweet potato fries. I would give this place a 6 out of 5 stars!“

“Today, our homeschool program held a fundraiser here after school. There were only two workers, Nathan, and another young lady in the back. There were over 100 people in line. These two served everyone with a smile. They were friendly and got orders out as quickly as possible. I know they were probably feeling overwhelmed, but they did not show it. I’m sure they were exhausted once their shift was over! I hope the owner sees this, because those two definitely deserve a raise!“

“Hey, Smoothie King corporate, can we please get these poor teenagers some extra help? These two kids, who could not have been older than seventeen, were by themselves, manning the entire store alone. They did a fantastic job, mind you, but I could tell they were swamped and frustrated. That isn't fair at all.
If people don't want to work, PAY THEM MORE, so they stay employed. This is just absolutely insane. Or give these kids the ability to turn off online ordering so they aren't juggling a ton of tickets all at once.
I feel so awful for the staff at most of your stores. It's always one or two teenagers, fighting for their lives for minimum wage or just above.

They work hard and should be treated better.“

The shelves were well stocked, date rotated where I examined. The shelf and stock I check was also clean.

No interaction with staff expect checkout which was fast and friendly.

The only minus in this otherwise 5 star review is the lack of bread in the bread aisle.

“Upon arrival the several of the trays were very wet, these are the trays you put your fresh pastries on. I let the manager know so she went and got them but then pasted me to let me know it was only a few, then threw them in the sink never apologized. Very rude!!! I did let her know I took napkins and wipe the first 5 or so. She had nothing to say“

A dynamite waitress, sweet and so accommodating of whatever we asked. No goofs even with this huge group. And……..I brought two special occasion pies for dessert. She put them in the cooler. “We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner and welcome reception at Rye Leawood and we had an incredible experience. From early on in the planning process to the event itself, the experience was expectational. They went above and beyond. India, the Event Manager, was so helpful with the planning of the room design, food menu, and beverage menu. Everything I requested she delivered on - the perfect layout of the room to accommodate the rehearsal dinner followed by the welcome reception to the entire menu being gluten and dairy free. She answered every email in a timely manner and met with me multiple times to over questions I had. She was so great to work with. The food was delicious! Every dish from appetizers to desserts was beautifully presented and so flavorful - I didn't know GF/DF could be so delicious. We have received so many compliments about the menu. The service was outstanding. The staff was so professional. They know how to work an event - incredibly efficient and attentive. Our guests were well taken care of. The entire event ran so smoothly. If you are looking for a venue for your special event, I highly recommend Rye Leawood - amazing food, outstanding service and an incredible experience. Our event was unforgettable.
