“A fantastic truly authentic Mexican restaurant with great food, wonderful staff and atmosphere. I stopped here on the way home from a event and I'm sure glad I did. The chips tasted like they were homemade and all the food I tried was fantastic!! Definitely worth checking out if you're passing through or live close by either one!!“

“The staff and cooks were extremely friendly and easy to work with. They forgot to add cheese to my daddy’s salad and to our pleasant surprise they came back with a whole cup of cheese! 😂 It’s safe to say this is the best McAlister's in the 417.
It’s definitely worth the extra drive“

“Good afternoon Hoods, Mo! My husband and I are truck drivers out of Amarillo, Tx! Never been to Hoods Restaurant but we will be back! The staff was top notch! Our waitress Melissa was one the best yet! Great eye contact and very sweet! Melissa hasn't been at Hoods but bout a month! Keep her & Keep her happy! The world 🌎 needs more people like her!
