“Food is great and served in reasonable time. The waitress could be more attentive to patrons seeing that the tip is added to the bill and paid before even receiving food. I asked for something and she forgot and brought it to the table 15 minutes later after I was almost done with meal. Had to ask for water, waitress only filled up my husband’s glass not mine and both were pretty much empty and I wasn’t even asked if I wanted more water. Hopefully this is read and improved on my return visit. It least it shows me how to tip next time 😏“

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to say that The Energy Hub is an great juice bar with phenomenal energy. The service is their greatest aspect; the guy behind the counter was extremely nice, warm, and welcoming.

The smoothie was really good and felt like I was doing something good for my body. You can customize the smoothie however you want with no up charge for however many different fruits you want in it.

Highly recommend stopping by at least once. You’ll be surprised how The Energy Hub lives up to its name by recharging you and leaving you feeling just a little bit lighter and brighter.“

“Our first trip ever to the Balkan Treat Box started with a very helpful server coming up to us at where you order and handing us the menus and helping us decide what to get. It really helped us with our order. We ordered 3 of the most popular dishes as well as some hummus to start. Everything was so good really a symphony of flavors! We were checked on by the staff several times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and everyone was very nice and helpful! Highly recommend. Plenty of parking especially in the back of restaurant.“

“I have had a lot of food from Loafers over the past few years but never had enough information to write a review! They serve a more cafe-style menu during lunch, offering amazing soups, sandwiches and salads. I have eaten lunch at Loafers many times and loved every experience. During dinner service, they serve their amazing pizzas, which I only got to experience for the first time recently. We went with another couple and ended up getting their spinach pizza and their seasonal pizza, which had far too many elements to name. Both pizzas were amazing. The service was great, though they did seem to want to turn the table quickly, understandably, as they are quite busy constantly. Highly recommend this space, as it is not unreasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food and service you receive.“

“I stopped here one time after getting my hair done next door. I'm gluten free and got the OG Fire without the crisp shallots or the tempura crunch and I added the tofu nuggets. OMG adding the tofu nuggets was the best decision, this sushi wrap tasted amazing! And they make it right there in front of you, so I'm glad I didn't order online for pick up bc the wait time was nothing and everything was fresh. Highly recommend!!“

I got mild spicy and they accommodated very nicely; it was not too spicy. The tofu was cooked very nicely, with a delicious crisp on the outside but tender and soft on the inside.

First off, let’s talk about that chicken—hands down, the softest, most moist chicken breast I’ve ever had in my life. Like, I had a moment. It was that good. Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth tender—I almost forgot it was poultry and not a warm hug in meat form. The shiitake mushrooms on the side were also on point. Rich, savory, and full of that earthy goodness that made me feel like I was leveling up my taste buds in real time. Then we got hit with dessert. Floating Island. I didn’t know what to expect, but what I got was pure magic—a fluffy cloud of sweetness with crème anglaise that made my eyes roll back like I just hit a flavor jackpot. And to top it all off—they surprised us with a free dessert when they found out it was our anniversary. That little gesture made the whole night even more special (and delicious). Everytime we come to St. Louis it is an obvious stop for us. My husband was recently sent up here to the hospital from Joplin and as soon as we found out he could eat I knew right were he was going to send me to pick up food. “I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“
