She worked the bar with an efficiency that I've never seen in my 30 years in the Service industry. it was a busy Saturday night and I had no problem getting drinks. “The food is pretty good but they nickel & dime you. Example, when you order a salad, it comes with not enough dressing & I’m one who does not require or want a lot or extra salad dressing on my salad. But they charge extra for each addition little cup of salad dressing. And after the party I was with left, I ordered takeout for my wife. They said they gave my order to someone in my party, which I know for a fact they did not. When I got home with the order I had to wait for more than twice as long for, they did not put the extra salad dressing I ordered & payed for in my bag. I know I should’ve checked but I trusted them & they failed.“

“Typical bar & grill, with a relatively small bar space but large interior dining spaces plus a small patio near traffic along Dorsett Road. During our latest visit, there was an extremely loud Sunday evening football-watching crowd filling the bar whose shouts echoed through all of the dining spaces. My wife & I received very friendly and efficient table service from Kandice (one of two waitresses covering all tables), and she checked on us regularly. We each enjoyed our dinner choices from the extensive menu: Mushroom Double Smash Burger with fries for her, Prime Beef French Dip with au jus & tater tots for me. Portions were generous enough for us to take home leftovers. We will return to the Maryland Heights MillWoods in the future, with consideration of visiting when major sports events aren't being broadcast.“

“I drive past this place a lot and never paid it any attention. My friend and I wanted some frozen drinks and food. When I say this place was a pleasant surprise. From the security to the ladies working at the bar we felt cared for. Even the other patrons were really nice. You can tell they are regulars there and we enjoyed that. The drinks were A1 in taste and buzz level. The only “issue” I had was the menu I read about online wasn’t as extensive. I had my heart set on something I didn’t see in person but that’s not a dealbreaker. They will see us again.“

“We called ahead with a large group and ended up taking up three long tables. Our server, Andrea, was fantastic and made us feel truly welcomed. It was my first time there and I was impressed, especially with the service. She mentioned we were the largest group she’s ever had, and she handled it like a pro.

The smash burgers with the fried egg were really good, and the fries were on point, hot and crispy with just the right amount of salt. Interestingly enough, the pizza was pretty darn good too.“

“I was host to approximately 30 to 35 professional people for an evening. The food was unbelievably delicious; and Taylor attended to us flawlessly. She never missed a beat and got it all right. The atmosphere was great in spite of it being a memorial service. There was a second table almost as large as ours, and there was plenty of room to spare. I had shopped around a few places; none of them seemed compatible for my needs. Mitch was the mgr., and he was great as well. He had asked several times how everything was. Matt, Satchmo’s owner, was here and mingled with us like any bar/restaurant should. As a chef, this tells me volumes of how he runs his establishment. I religiously order the pork green chili(which is phenomenal) and the fish and chips were to die for, exactly how I like it. This place is the quintessential neighborhood bar!“

I was there at 8 pm so maybe there was a big dinner rush before me. Still she was nice. The new grilled cheese cheeseburger wae the bomb. So good“
