“My husband and I went here for the first time tonight and we had a great time! Jean was an excellent bartender and gave great recommendations and even let me sample the bourbon before I ordered. They have so many choices! Other patrons were all so friendly. They have lots of seating choices, you can sit at the bar and talk to others or go sit outside for a more quiet area or in the back room. We did not eat but the food we saw come out of the kitchen looked delicious! The owner was there talking to customers and bringing out food. Such a cool local place owned & operated by local people. We will defiantly be back!“
“Great food and great people!! Love the brunch on the weekends!! Snickers French Toast is the BEST!! The smothered biscuit is delicious. BLT is to die for. Love the Smithwicks beer. Haven't had anything here that is bad - everything is delicious!!! A Must try and come back spot!!!“
“There during Bikefest. Absolutely a great place, staff was awesome, friendly and tentative. Prices very reasonable and our drinks were really good. We definitely have this on our list of places to be sure to go back too. Adding to favorites.“
“ABSOLUTELY THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN I've ever eaten. It is broasted, which means it's fried in a pressure cooker. The skin is crispy but not hard. The meat is uber juicy, and it was brought to us hot out of the cooker. Our server Katy was friendly, efficient, and checked on us often even though she was both the only server and only bartender. My husband & l both had the dark meat, 4 piece basket, I had the broasted potatoes, and he had the regular skinny fries. We both had delicious cole slaw, which tasted homemade, a perfect side for the chicken. My husband had an ice-cold beer, and l had rum & Coke. This would've been 5 stars across the board, but surprisingly, people were smoking in there, so beware.Although it didn't dampen my dinner experience one bit, it might be the deal breaker for others.Next time, I'm trying the pork tenderloin! Great local dive bar. A+++“
“The food was great. We all had something different - steaks and nightly special menu items, seafood, pizza and appetizers. Very family friendly. The only “complaint” was that we drove 2.5 hours and made a reservation noting we were celebrating a milestone birthday and that was mentioned while we were there. Maybe they don't do anything for such things. Otherwise we would highly recommend this place and the food.“
“This is one of our absolute favorite restaurants. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. But I'm hooked on the crispy fish tacos! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Camdenton.“
“This place reminds me what the lake restaurants used to be! A good laid back atmosphere with good service and no douche bags! Now let’s get started with the drinks… YOU WOULDN’T BELIZE IT, fresh pressed drinks and a bunch of their own take on other classics that are mostly nautical themed. Had an appetizer that was also good. The loaded buffalo fries were also great to share with a few friends. They weren’t gourmet by any means but this isn’t a gourmet place. The only thing to make them better is having chicken hand breaded but I am not complaining. Ample amount of chicken and sauce with the fries as well. Definitely a place to check out.“
“First off the service has been great each time we’ve been in. My wife and I are new to the area and have been treated and treated warmly here. It’s a wonderful non smoking local pub with amazing food. The pretzels are so good. I’m partial to honey mustard dipping with traditional salt on the Bavarian but the beer cheese is something special too. We have had their hand tossed pizza twice and each time it was perfectly cheesy with a loft and slightly chewy crust. Perfection.Beer is cold. Drinks are strong. Food is good. Service is amaze. What more could you ask for from a pub?Vegetarian options: Pretzels. Veggies pizza items.“
