“Great evening date night event.**Bring an external radio source so you can hear the movie. The movie is played through the radio. If you leave your car off and play the radio, you might have a dead battery at the end of the night. A mini portable radio with fm is perfect. If there's a kids' movie playing that night, chances are there might be a lot of kids making quite a bit of noise as well. Ear buds could come in handy if needed for temporary noise reduction. ****They advertise not to bring food, but pretty much everyone I saw brought their own popcorn, drinks, and candy.Overall, it's an enjoyable experience.“

“Food is always great and customer service always even better! We go almost every Sunday for breakfast! The servers, hostess and managers all know us and are so nice and friendly. They are so good with our little girl and even kept her baby doll back for us and had it ready when we came in this week! We love this location!“

“So my sweetheart & I have been saying we've been wanting to try this place, so for date night tonight we did. OH MY YUMMY LORD!!! The appetizer was the best chili cheese fries I've had in a very long time. Michael got the fish & chips with Brussels slaw, and I got the Meat Sweats pasta. Guys, the food melted in our mouth. We were swapping bites and got very full. We have leftovers to enjoy later. Tiffany was our server, and she was very knowledgeable of the food and helped with my indecisiveness. We will definitely be back to try more of the spectacular options available.“

“Tried this as we were passing through the area! The menu is truly unique, there isn't a single dish that you could go wrong with! I personally loved the Fiesta frito pie, my husband loved his chili burger, the cheese melted on was thicker than most of a burger, which leveled it up! The kids loved the chili spaghetti.Service was above and beyond!“

“Wait staff was very friendly & attentive. I picked a burger and changed it up a bit. Waitress did not flinch and it came to the table exactly as ordered. Quite possibly the best burger I have ever had. Husbands BLT was fantastic. Drinks were made to perfection. Price was reasonable to say the least. I cannot say enough positives to express how satisfied we were with our visit. Can't wait to go back. Finally, I brought my pup and everyone was so sweet to her. Waitress brought her a cup of water and asked if she could have a treat. She brought her a bite of bacon and little Sadie girl was so happy.“
“Stop along Route 66.We arrive in this area of Galena, and we feel like we are in another world: it's like when it was an important stopping point on Route 66 decades ago. Since 1979 the diversion of the U.S. he cut her off completely. But here everything lives in the memory of glorious times. There are still rusty vintage cars, old pumps, dilapidated buildings, perhaps fake dilapidated because they are in good shape internally even if furnished as they once were. Everyone is kind, they ask us where we come from and invite us to stick pins on their world map, to write something in their logbook, they offer to take a photo of us in front of their trophies.“

“I love this coffee shop and visit multiple times everytime I’m in the area!! The owners are the best and sweetest people you’ll ever meet!! The chef makes delicious homemade food and the drinks are outstanding!! I recommend the cinnamon rolls, the biscuits and gravy, the breakfast sandwiches, the chili, the goulash and potato soup!! For drinks, as someone who doesn’t drink coffe there are tons of non-coffee options, the strawberry peach smoothie is to die for!! If you do drink coffee, you literally can’t go wrong with any of the drinks! The owners love to come out and chat and are always so friendly and welcoming! You can find tons of tourists from all over the world and people enjoying a communal puzzle in the front of the coffee shop! Perfect for everyone and great to stay awhile or grab a quick bite!! Definitely worth a stop! I love it and the owners so much!! ?Vegetarian options: Many breakfast options totally vegetarian and so many dishes can be made without meat, just ask!Parking: Tons of free parking spotsKid-friendliness: The owners absolutely love children and welcome kids with open arms!Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is on one level and very even flooring and there is a small ramp to access the door to enter“

“Great food and shakes. Service is a bit slow, not due to volume, but due to the fact that only one employee, the girl with light brown hair, seems to work and she does everything bussing tables, making our shakes, delivering orders, etc. for the entire restaurant. The other employees stand for long periods of time staring at their phones while this poor girl runs circles. One young gentleman who works here spends a significant amount of time behind the counter running his fingers through his fledgling beard as if this will coax it to grow instead of just spreading dead skin cells and random sheds over the shake area. Other than that, it is great.“

“We had an amazing night celebrating a birthday there tonight. The manager, Stephanie, was more than accommodating and sat us pretty quickly. Our wait staff, Winnie and Nate, were fantastic. They kept everyone's drinks filled, Everyone did an incredible job, especially considering they had our party of 12 and another party of 20 at the same time, as well as countless other guests. This is why Longhorn is our favorite restaurant in Joplin. Always excellent service and amazing food, every single time.“

“My husband and I was in Joplin, MO shopping. We come to Joplin a lot!! Passed this restaurant for over 10 years. Always seen the parking lot full. Always was curious!! FINALLY we stopped and went inside. We got greated by a young friendly hostess and seated immediately . I loved the environment. Reminded me of the old mom and pop diners. And talking about good home cooking. It was very good!! I had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans. It was amaizing!! Husband had chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and okra. He was very pleased!! So worth the stop. And very affordable. And check out was convenient. If you haven't tried eating there I'd recommend you do. If you leave out hungry, it's your own fault!!“
“If you leave hungry, it's your own fault!!! Biscuits and gravy platter is enough to share, the bacon is some of the best I've EVER had, Denver omelette was stuffed full of goodies. The smothered tater tots with green chiles, cream gravy and cheese was to die for! The family loves a good diner and this definitely checked the boxes for classic diner off for us! We will be back next time we drive out that way!“

“A classic great stop on the 66 Route. The food is amazing, appetizers were unique, fresh and in a large portion. The Greek Nachos knocked it out of the park. Left so satisfied and the fun options there and at the surrounding businesses made it worth our time!“

“Everything tasted very good, and the fried chicken was perfect. There was a hair, but I didn’t know, it could have been my own. My only complaint, was that a wet wipe was provided, but it was placed under the fried chicken pieces.Parking: Plenty of room to park, even for RV’s and buses.“
“My Denny's experience was amplified with Kiara's wonderful service. My friend and I had her as our server and we were both very impressed. She also made a valiant effort to ask us how are food was. If she hasn't gotten one already, Kiara deserves a raise! - John and James“

“Culver's is the best and a must visit when in the Midwest. Enjoy a butter burger, chicken strips, or pork tenderloin sandwich. For those wanting a real treat you should try the fried cod.If you have not been to Culver's before, order the cheese curds with a side of ranch. Your taste buds (not your heart) will thank you.Last, but not least! Save room for the custard. Go with the flavor of the day (can't go wrong), a concrete mixer (double peanut butter cup ?) or simply enjoy the smooth vanilla!Enjoy...“

“Most items I have tried taste delicious. Disappointed they are taking the plant based burger option off the menu. The breaded catfish didn't have much of any flavor. I don't eat tarter sauce so if they were expecting that to be the source of flavor that would be why I wasn't too keen on it. Best, best, best fried pickles in the area.“
