“Grew up in the late 60's in Joplin. Every friday night it was spaghetti red. A couple miles south on Rangeline road, awesome is an understatement. Gramps delivered Foremost icecream, so we were treated well.“

We live 70 miles away and are generally in Joplin on weekends… But will not miss Stogey’s If possible, when on town.“

The drinks came super slow which I found wierd because there may have been 10 people there with 2 servers, a bar tender and a lady that circled our table waiting for us to be done eating. The part which perplexed me was that our server brought our check before we asked and seemed perturbed we wanted another drink. Dont expect a normal dining experience here. Slow and boring is the experience I had.“

“I ordered the smores and pink velvet iced coffee. So yummy! I got the breakfast burrito. It was stuffed full. With bacon, sausage, tots, eggs, and cheese. So delicious! I got so full. Will be returning again soon. Can't wait to eat the waffles and try the waffle burger. Just grabbed the burrito today, so I could take it with me and eat it on the go. Was in a hurry, walked in ordered, and was in and out in less then 5 mins. Lady even opened the door for me to leave. Lots of space in what looks like a small building. Plenty of sitting outside as well.

“We eat dinner at crackerville, quite often. And we also order to go orders, it's always been great service. Great food. Usually no complaints, but our last visit 3/23/2026, ,there was a lady, I assume the manager in the dining area. This is at Joplin, Missouri, and she seemed to be barking out orders, no smile, not very courteous to servers, very abrupt to staff at checkout, speaking with a tone of irritation. She could use some retraining. I had not observed this at any other visit. The Cracker Barrel crew are usually welcoming, friendly and accommodating.“

“Red Onion Cafe has done an amazing job of making the situation of my wife's knee replacement surgery and overnight hospital confinement a much easier experience. The wonderful staff has gone above and beyond to provide food, not only for my wife's in room meals, but those of mine and my daughter. The food was delicious, every Red Onion employee was extremely helpful, and Red Onion's presence had a positive effect on the entire atmosphere of the hospital.
Every employee I dealt with put forth extra effort to make certain I was well cared for. When I ordered my first meals I was given a coupon for a discount on my next order and had had difficulty applying the coupon code in my phone app when ordering the evening meals. My cashier went to great lengths to make certain that the discount was applied when I completed the purchase. After returning to my wife's room where her evening meal had already been brought to her, I was giving my daughter her part of the food and the employee who had taken my order knocked on the door with some more of my food that I had inadvertently left behind in the Cafe. I am tremendously grateful to Red Onion for their excellent service and I really appreciate all they did for us.“

“My husband and I went to Julian's for the first time today and boy are we ever so glad we did. The staff was courteous and the food was beyond good it was exceptionally great. We both had the Steak Breakfast and I thought i would not be able to really eat the steak since I have no teeth but, boy was I so very wrong. Even the drive thru is so efficient and friendly that I would choose this location over a McDonald’s drive thru ANY DAY! The potatoe salad is mayo and mustard based and wasn't so much for me, but the rest was absolutely amazing. Service was great, it wasnt too busy on a Wednesday Evening. Definitely check it out.“
