Ivy Cafe Reviews
Wow this place was amazing, I cannot wait to go back next time I’m in town!!! The menu was a unique take on brunch familiar brunch items. Everything sounded so good it was tough to decide what to get. We all got different meals to share and all of it was delicious! And pretty big portions, oh it was SO good. I had a medicinal mushroom coffee tasted great and had me feeling great all day.
If you’re looking for a great cafe in Clayton, for a girls get together or birthday gathering or just want a night out for dinner. This restaurant was fabulous. The foods were delicious and the cocktails were great as well. Even the coffees they offer are amazing. The waitresses and waiters are always cheerful and on top of their presence. We always look forward to coming here. They never disappoint. Can’t wait for the music series to open back up come fall.
This place is a dump and wouldn't know good food if it hit them in the face. Their customer service and food suck. So does their owner who didn't dispute any of my complaints but simply tried to insult me. If your food sucks it sucks. The lava cake was so dry I split it open to find no warm center but fully cooked all the way through. I didn't touch 2 of my courses and the servers never said a word about it. it's clear they didn't care. they just got their restaurant week money...read full review

Ivy Cafe is a charming and intimate restaurant with a garden-themed ambiance, offering a refreshingly vegetable-focused menu with compatible proteins. The menu features creative dishes, as well as options for vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free diners, accommodating allergies perfectly. They carry a wonderful vegan protein called Harvest Shreds that they allow you to substitute for any meat. The restaurant boasts an impressive wine list and a selection of custom cocktails, including spirit-free options. The service is great, knowledgeable, and professional, with staff that is patient and kind. The atmosphere is very pleasant, casual yet comfortable and charming, though the room can be a little loud. Visitors often enjoy healthy and delicious food with large portions. They also make all sourdough in house with a 24 hour ferment. Live music on Wednesdays adds to the enjoyable experience. While some tables may be small and parking can be a challenge, the overall experience is wonderful, making Ivy Cafe a must-visit destination and a st.louis gem.
