For a home style meal they are the go too. Everything was very good. They were out of fried chicken, (understandable ) so got the tenderloin. Big enough for two sandwiches. Nothing disappointed, waitress was very nice and did a great job. Five stars all the way

We were greeted at the door by our host, then server immediately seated us at table and immediately took our drink, then food order. Husband and I ordered the fried chicken and sides of onion rings, fried onion, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The chicken was not very warm, but the batter flavoring was great. All other sides were warm and wonderful. We had the peanut butter reeses pie. That was fantastic. We try to stop here on way to or from lake. Great restaurant with hometown...read full review

Be sure to have the half tenderloin sandwich. It is a hang off the bun sandwich. The whole is almost dinner plate size. OH don't forget to have half order of onion rings. I travel from Kansas City to eat here. Only other tenderloin as good is Smiths in Boliver,MO.
