I kept it classic with wings and fries, because sometimes you need to balance your wine with a little finger-lickin’ realness. And let me tell you, they delivered. The wings had a smoky little kick, the fries were hot and crispy, and I was living my best snacking life. 🔥🍟

My girls went full brunch bombshell—chicken & waffles, cheese balls (dangerously good), salads, sandwiches—and not a bite was left on any plate. The food hit, the wine flowed, and the laughter never stopped.

“I am so glad someone re-opened this business in downtown Defiance! Please stop through and check this place out! The good was delicious! I went for the reuben and my companion went for the Frisco burger. It did not disappoint! The sandwiches were delicious and the portions generous. The staff was plenty and helpful with our selections. They upgraded the interior but kept a few of the squirrel decor from before. The outside had lots of seating and we took advantage of the beautiful weather to sit outside. The wait staff was very attentive and made sure they kept the iced tea coming, and checking on us from time to time. I highly recommend this place whether you are driving or even bicycling through. This is very close to the Katy Trail, so you can park your bike and have a sit down.”

The sugar cane drink was so tasty and the ginger paired well with the spice. Highly recommend Persis Indian Grill. We will be a repeat customer!”

We ordered four cookies: the Strawberry Cookie, Oreo Cookie, Birthday Cookie, and the Toffee Cake. Each one was absolutely amazing—rich flavors, perfect textures, and a real treat for me and my two daughters! Crumbl consistently delivers on quality, and we loved every bite.

However, the service on December 2nd around 6 PM left a bit to be desired. The middle-aged woman taking orders seemed impatient as we decided between two cookies, even though there was no line behind us. It made the experience less enjoyable and felt unnecessarily rushed.

To the Crumbl leadership team (CEO, COO): Please ensure all staff are trained on the importance of friendly and welcoming customer service. It's just as vital as the quality of your cookies.

Overall, the cookies were fantastic, but a little more kindness at the counter would make the experience perfect!”

“We had a lovely dinner at NOTO last night. One thing I like about NOTO is their menu changes seasonally which keeps it fresh and exciting. They have amazing Neapolitan pizza which was certified by AVPN in Italy. Service was spectacular. Charming atmosphere. I started off with NOTO house salads. Chefs kiss. Mortadella is a no-brainer for me. My partner got the Salsiccia. They were absolutely delicious. The whole experience definitely brought us back to Italy. We also liked the patata a lot. I did make a reservation one month in advance but it’s worth the wait. Highly recommended!”

“I ordered a custom cake for my Niece's 10th birthday and she LOVED IT! We all did. She wanted a specific character on the cake and she said it looked perfect! The cake was SO GOOD! Not dry at all and the icing was sweet without being too sugary and it wasn't gritty at all. (Some icing can have that gritty texture and chemical taste but not this one!) We had the white cake with white icing and you could really taste the vanilla. We all loved it and my niece is the only real vanilla lover in the bunch lol. 10/10 recomend!!! Idk how to add a photo but I would if I knew how lol. It looked amazing!”

Some of us compared it to tasting brownie like, as it is a very thick cake. They were able to make the cake with a two weeks notice & they were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. “When I needed a cake for an impromptu party I decided only 12 days ahead on, I picked up the phone and called Sweet Spot Cake Shoppe and reached out to Donna. I had a kinda, round about idea of what I was after, but honestly I just wanted 1/4 sheet 1/2 chocolate 1/2 white with LIGHT icing and I wanted the USMC Globe and Anchor logo and a RR track around the perimeter. Her FIRST ATTEMPT (that's right 1st) was a Grand Slam. This cake is for a Vietnam Combat Veteran Marine and I wanted it perfect. SSCS blew my expectations out of the water. In fact, I'd say came in about 20-25% less than the same at the big chain bakeries, not to mention it was one fresh, perfect cake, nothing misspelled or 3" of frosting on top of some dried out 4 day old cake that was mass produced. Made to order and more affordable! 5 stars across the board! Thanks for making the party complete!”
