“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“Our waitress was friendly but a bit overworked. The Italian Wedding soup was horrible. No flavor, no Italian sausage and full of barley. The roast beef sandwich was good but had wilted greens on it and we didn’t like that. The ham and cheese sandwich was good. The atmosphere was a bit noisy.“

“It is a relaxed environment. Always fast courteous and friendly service. The only thing that I did not like the last time that I was there was the fact that I could not find a way on the get up and go paying system to change the amount that I had entered for the tip. It is possible that I missed it. I did look repeatedly and did not see a way to go back and change the amount of tip that I entered without totally backing out of the program and going back in. I just figured a dollar was not worth the stress. All I wanted to do was add $1.00 to the tip amount. Oh well.“

“What an incredible experience being able to eat at Dave’s Diner. Got in after a later flight and this meal brought us right back to life, what a golden late night food spot. Pancake was delicious, my partner could not stop raving about his hamburger steak, green beans and gravy. Thank you!!!“

“This place is great! The food was delicious - they know the difference between a hard scramble and bad eggs for sure. The bacon was perfectly crispy without being hard or burnt. The avocado was fresh and the BLT Benedict is a new favorite. The cheese grits were tasty and super cheesy, and I don’t even particularly care for grits. They were a bit busy and a little understaffed, but that just shows how good a place it is.“

Good food never has good parking lol that’s the only downside the wait was like 15 minutes and the food was fantastic! “Valley Park MO location was very accommodating to a party of almost 30 outside. We were in the covered patio area, perfect for a small youth sports group. Waitresses were organized, food was fast and delicious. Highly recommend.“

“This Waffle House on Telegraph Road was fantastic! The service was incredibly fast—our food came out so quickly that it felt like it arrived almost before we finished ordering. Everything was hot, fresh, and exactly what we were craving.

Our server was attentive from start to finish, making sure our drinks stayed filled and that we had all the condiments we needed. It was clear the team was focused on providing great customer service.

I also noticed several managers outside actively beautifying the property, trimming trees and taking pride in maintaining the restaurant's appearance. That level of care really stood out.

“I had the BEST breakfast sandwich burger at Wakey Wakey last week while I was staying at the attached hotel for a women's conference. It was huge & I had to cut it in half & save the rest. Our server Sam was the one who made the suggestion to try it & he was right in his suggestion! He even told me how to reheat it so that it would come out even better than the first time it was served. Our drinks were never less than half full & he was very attentive. You can really tell he takes pride in his work! I also want to note that the breakfast potatoes are AMAZING & I will definitely be going back to get them again! They are something that I have never had at any other breakfast place. My mouth is watering now just typing this. Thank you again for the great suggestions Sam & keep up the great work! “I ordered Chris’ Classics, two eggs, choice of meat, hash browns or fruit and toast or pancakes. The eggs looked plain but they were seasoned well. I asked for crispy bacon but it was snappy. This may be our new favorite place instead of a popular breakfast place on hwy 94 in St. Charles, we frequently visit.“

“Good, traditional breakfast entrees and a few healthier options. I always enjoy the garden omelette with a side of fruit. Sometimes I get it as a garden burrito instead. Both have generous proportions. The spinach and egg white bagel is tasty. Even during peak breakfast hours we never wait long for a table. The dining room is large (formerly a Chinese Buffet) with extra tables added. The staff is attentive and have a pot of coffee in hand. I appreciate them refilling my teapot with hot water. They are known for conventional breakfast entrees in a shorter amount of time. Perfect for families or larger groups at the tables all with timely service.“

“I’m from Florida/Georgia and out of all the Waffle Houses I have ever visited this one had the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! I’m actually emotional typing this cause I’m still in shock…shoutout to my waitress Summer and the other waitress on duty who was still very attentive, helpful, and sweet despite not being assigned to my table. “The food was okay but very overpriced. For just myself, it was over $20 just for breakfast. It was also pretty noisy and there was a 20 minute wait when I got there, but I was waiting for 2 other people running late, so it ended up working out okay on the timing.“

“Our waiter, the gentleman with tattoos, was really great. We came in Valentines Day and even though they were slow staffed, he was able to multitask and still take care of our table.

Bathrooms really need a deep clean and a plumber to take care of the faucet in the women’s restroom though.“
