“Loved my first trip to Dou Dou Cafe! I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup and the Thit Kho, which had a creative and surprisingly spicy kick. The Viet Coffee and Hong Kong Milk Tea were both perfect. Excellent food and friendly family-owned staff!“

“this is literally the best chinese food i've ever had. it was the only place on the street open late on sunday night (that wasn't an open bar). the server was very apologetic about the wait (even though it wasn't that bad) and kept giving us free stuff, even an entire free dish. all these delicious snacks, some things i've never had. and the meat, those barbecued skewers are to die for. i've never had pork belly or lamb quite like that.
anyways, this place is tragically being shut down because there's a greedy company buying out all the asian restaurants on delmar blvd, very tragic. so this place will be gone in about a month, please go while you can, it is well worth it.“
