“We had Branding Iron cater our wedding this past weekend. We ordered the BBQ101 plus with pulled pork and beef brisket. The food was ready on time for us to pick it up. They food tasted great and everyone at the wedding enjoyed the food! One thing I would suggest they add to their website regarding the catering is, when we were placing our order for 25 people, we were told catering could not be done unless it was for 30 or more people. It doesn’t say it anywhere on the catering portion of the website. Also that there was a $1.00 up-charge for beef brisket, if you choose it. Which was fine, but would be nice to know when planning. Otherwise we had great food, great service and would highly recommend using them for catering. Plus we enjoy going to the restaurant to eat on a regular basis. I always enjoy the Texas Tator!”

“I visited this week with my two toddlers and baby, and Rose was so sweet and helpful during our visit. She made sure to tell me to let her know if I needed anything, and she was so kind to my kiddos. On top of that, our food was delicious. We’ll be back!”

“The tacos are really good, and they have Taco Tuesday! I can only eat three, they're really filling. Delicious queso too. I've also really liked the mexican pizza, tostada salad and enchiladas. Fast, friendly service. Restaurant is super clean. A Cass County, MO favorite!”

“Prices are reasonable. Green tomatoes and onion rings were overcooked. Smash burger good, but not enough cheese. We could not find the onion.
My pork chop was excellent, so were the beans.
Sami was our server. Nice enough, but she did not refill our drinks and she did not bring us to go drinks as we requested.
We will recommend it to our friends and we will return.”

“The young person over the phone when I ordered was not knowledgeable on the sizes / servings per pizza that are offered. Maybe they were new, but the overall feel of my experience was that management was lacking and that teenagers were left in charge. My pizza was great though!”

“6/27/25 went there for supper. waiter had no personality, our food was nasty and was cold when served to us. Best part of the meal was the chips, salsa, cheese sauce and guacamole. Waited for ever to get the bill, finally got his attention and had to ask him for it. Can not recommend this place to anyone.”

“Our group of 14 had lunch today and it was excellent. Our server Donna is fantastic! Amazingly she is the only server working there but still managed to keep our water and tea glasses topped off. This woman is a dynamo! We knew that with a group as large as ours it would be a bit of a wait but the food was worth waiting for!”

“My girlfriend and I eat at xolos as out date night restaurant. unfortunately we can no longer trust their food. or order was a family margarita (for my birthday) the xolo burrito (only had red sauce no white sauce), and papa's con polo. she ate the papa's con polo, after saying to was not as good at it typically is, she finished it, and had one cup of the margarita. her food must have been under cooked, because she has been throwing up all night and still is this morning. we believe she now has food poisoning, and we no longer trust them to provide us a safe to eat meal. If it doesn't look right dont risk it. we wont anymore.”

“Excellent food. We got the Asada Fries and Enchilada Trio. The Asada Fries were fantastic! 11/10 I would absolutely recommend. The Enchilada Trio was 8/10. The best Mexican rice I've ever had. The Horchata was good but just average. It was not busy when we arrived (4pm on a Friday) so service was excellent. I will absolutely be returning.”
