“I visited the Ferguson location today w a friend who will be moving away from STL shortly. We were both first time visitors. Cathy was cooking and the food was amazing. My friend had the Friday Special (catfish, shrimp, and wings) while I chose the Thursday special of wings and shrimp. Both dishes were perfectly executed, tasty, and not at all oily. 10/10. Please support this small business.“

“The building is super cool and has a historic, very classy vibe, plus a nice patio. It was packed with people and there was even a line outside, so they are clearly the trendy spot right now. Good luck to them, but the prices really make you wonder. Why does it have to be so expensive? After all, it’s bread.
Because they are doing so well, they almost seem a bit indifferent to running out of stock. They were nearly completely out of bread when I went, and I was only able to buy four small loaves. Later on, I found one of their loaves at a shop on The Hill, but it cost me $8.50. For a loaf of bread, that feels a bit excessive.
To the owners: it might be worth looking at places like France, Italy, or Spain, which are great examples of how to make amazing, healthy bread at a much more reasonable price.
But yes, why not? I still recommend giving it a try!“

“Food is great and served in reasonable time. The waitress could be more attentive to patrons seeing that the tip is added to the bill and paid before even receiving food. I asked for something and she forgot and brought it to the table 15 minutes later after I was almost done with meal. Had to ask for water, waitress only filled up my husband’s glass not mine and both were pretty much empty and I wasn’t even asked if I wanted more water. Hopefully this is read and improved on my return visit. It least it shows me how to tip next time 😏“

“Needed lunch for a “Hawaiian” birthday party and this place was recommended and did not disappoint!!! From Gabrielle who helped with the lunch order to Jennifer who had everything ready the day of the event and Alex who helped load the car-it was seamless. AND, the food was DELICIOUS and loved by the birthday girl and attendees!!! I’m afraid you will have to get ready for several new customers!!! Thanks so much for helping make our birthday event the best!!!“

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to say that The Energy Hub is an great juice bar with phenomenal energy. The service is their greatest aspect; the guy behind the counter was extremely nice, warm, and welcoming.
The smoothie was really good and felt like I was doing something good for my body. You can customize the smoothie however you want with no up charge for however many different fruits you want in it.
Highly recommend stopping by at least once. You’ll be surprised how The Energy Hub lives up to its name by recharging you and leaving you feeling just a little bit lighter and brighter.“

“Every month my husband and I meet two other couples for a weekday breakfast. We like to try a different restaurant each time. This month, we went to The Village Cafe of Lake Saint Louis. The food and service were amazing!! The breakfast menu was very extensive including “make your own omelets and skillets”. I love a good steak skillet with mushrooms, onions, American fries and cheddar cheese, and this make your own creation at the Cafe was one of the best I have ever had! My husband had a make your own omelet, customized the way he likes it!! The other couples also liked the meals they ordered, and the portions were quite large, so boxes were needed. Prices are reasonable as well!! I think I found my new favorite breakfast restaurant!! 5 stars!!“

“The Crossing Restaurant did a remarkable job the other evening when we dined there. We had impeccable service and outstanding food. I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. I remember being wowwed when I first dined at The Crossing 25 years ago and it is still just as fabulous! We cannot wait to return.“

“Some restaurants try too hard to create a vibe. Songbird makes it look effortless.
The moment I walked in, it felt like a deep exhale—warm, welcoming, and the kind of place that invites you to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. What surprised me most was that the standout stars weren’t anything overly complicated. It was the little things done exceptionally well.
That toasted English muffin? Golden, buttery perfection with just the right crunch. The kind of simple item that reminds you how good food can be when it’s made with care. And the applewood bacon? Absolute chef’s kiss. Smoky, crisp, and packed with flavor in every bite.
Songbird has mastered the art of making breakfast feel special without being pretentious. It’s the type of place you’ll think about long after you’ve left—and find yourself planning your next visit before you even get home.“

“Fast. Fresh. Friendly. And delicious. Celiac friendly gluten free options but only in the spicy sauce, but it is not that spicy. They also have gluten free imitation crab that is impossible to find anywhere else. The large burrito roll is enough for dinner and lunch the next day, so great value as well!“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“I have been wanting to get here for several years, and we finally made it, tonight, to Anthonino's Taverna, a short distance from Rob's place. (Fun fact, this place has been spotlighted twice on Guy Fieri's Food Channel Show. I can now see why. 🥰) Well, I wish I had made it here sooner. But, that's behind us, and tonight was a delicious, and delightful night. Our waitress, Bailee, had the excellent insight to know it takes awhile to decide on a drink, and dinner choices. It doesn't matter if you read the menu online or not. Changes are always added. She gave us the grace to settle in for a few minutes. She gave us enough time to settle in so we could make our choices. Rob had a Kona Wave draft, and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Bailee brought us bread made, and baked on The Hill with great quality olive oil, and herbs for dipping. Rob ordered the lasagna, and I opted for the Tutti de Mare with seafood, garlic, butter, and olive oil. My dinner was delicious, and made with freshly made pasta, and a perfect mix of perfectly cooked wild caught seafood of mussels, shrimp, clams, and squid. Rob's lasagna also featured freshly made pasta sheets, Anthonino's red sauce, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. I tasted it, and it's your pick here if you love lasagna. Homemade taste that brought me back to my grandmother's and my mother's tables. 🥰❤️ I also felt welcomed, and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. Italian girl here, and I would highly recommend this place for the food, drinks, the customer service, and the ambiance. I am already planning to come back on my next trip here. Anthonino's Taverna“

“I want to extend my deep gratitude to the great Hostess last Saturday afternoon who kindly went above and beyond her responsibilities not only as a host but as a human being by letting me (offering!) charge my lon foot and had a dead phone. It was about 4 pm and the place was slightly busy (almost outside full and inside) but not much else was around the area so my hunch and restaurant experience tells me they’re doing everything right: good food, good prices and good staff. The atmosphere is inviting, unpretentious and sort of a homey, cozy n stylish flair. I would’ve rather stayed and ate but thankfully the hostess helped me on my way. thank you for helping and not being annoyed when I asked for directions twice! (Also,“

“The shrimp po'boy was messy enough that half the meal was trying not to drop it. Seafood tasted fresh and the portions were generous. Live music started while we were eating and the whole place got louder as the night went on. Crowded, energetic, and a little chaotic, but in a fun way.“

“Favazza’s is a well-known and respected Italian spot on “The Hill”, St. Louis’ Italian Neighborhood filled with old delis, charming markets and upscale Italian restaurants. Our extended family is a big fan of Favazza’s, so we go from time to time with them. We went last week with my Aunt & Uncle, and it was great. The dining room(s) are charming, but getting a bit dated, in all honesty. Since it’s on “The Hill”, it’s not necessarily an issue, but in any other neighborhood, I think others would agree with me that it needs some sprucing up. Regardless, the ambiance has a fancy and classy feel to it. The service we had was fine. Everyone is dressed up and respectful, but sometimes the service lacks personality at these places because they’re so worried about being “ritzy”. This is the case we had last week. Regardless, also a fine experience in this category. The food was DELICIOUS last week. We started with the Toasted Ravioli. You can tell it’s the real-deal — the filling is excellent. Our entrees were also phenomenal. I got the Chicken Limone and it was tangy and luscious. Genuinely one of the best Italian dishes I’ve had before. The dinner salads, side pasta and phenomenal garlic bread were an added bonus. Favazza’s may be older and their service may lack personality, but their food is nothing to scoff at. A very solid 4 Stars from me.“

“I used live in Mississippi and I would drive up from Mississippi just to get Faraci pizza and I liked all of their pizzas and salad. All of Faraci’s food on their menu was yummy. That I live in the lake of the Ozarks it’s a lot closer for me and I would drive up and order pizzas And bring them back. The Faraci special, the hamburger bacon, and the pepperoni and pineapple or my favorites but I will eat just about anything from that restaurant. Prices are reasonable and if you don’t think they are, that’s not faraci fault , that’s is JB fault.“
