“This is THE best coffee shop in what I'd say is the whole Jefferson County area. I drive 20 minutes down south sometimes just to get their coffee. The service and product is exceptional and I just love this place! I'd rate it higher if I could!“
“OHHHHH YEAHHHHH! I ordered a sampling of the various baked goods from here and I can safely say I don’t yet have a favorite because everything I tried was immaculate. The cookie was soft throughout, even the edges felt like I was biting into the center. No clue how this is possible but it was excellent. The macaroons were delicate and flavorful. The red strawberry cake was dense and delicious. And I tied it all together with a bite of salted caramel cupcake that ultimately led to me having to finish the entire cupcake. An order from here will not disappoint and as a resident of St. Peter’s, I can say it is well worth a trip to festus. Please do yourself a favor and give this bakery a try.“
“My very favorite pizza! In fact, my only pizza place now. Olive Juice Forever is my favorite pie but all of them are delicious. (Sour dough crust to die for). Don’t forget the side of chicken wings. Amazing beer on tap. Also, take home a giant cinnamon roll or a sweet treat, you won’t regret it. Bonus-if you need a bike, hit Jonny up. He fitted my husband with his dream bike.“
“We stopped by right at the time they opened. There was a guy who worked there that was carrying boxes to his car. I walked in and said hi and he replied how can I help you? And not a friendly voice. He acted like I annoyed him because he had to stop and wait on me and I interrupted him carrying the boxes to the car. I only got 6 doughnuts and I ordered 3 of one kind and 3 of a different kind. I thought that was a pretty simple order and not much trouble. But I guess he thought differently. I have been in here once before and the guy (different guy) was very nice and cheerful and made you feel welcomed. This guy was totally opposite. I frequently visit the Crystal City one and they are always nice and welcome you so I have to admit I was surprised by this guy's attitude.“
“I walked into The Braided Bakery yesterday and ordered 20 random items and also cleared out most of their drinks from the cooler. They were so friendly and kind! I've done this before to some other little shops and they have seemed aggravated I bought so much. Not The Braided Bakery! Everything was absolutely delicious and the folks who I bought it for just raved about it! Thank you so much for being so kind and also making such delicious food!“
