African Palace is a well-known West African restaurant that provides an authentic and enjoyable dining experience. The menu features a variety of homemade dishes, including flavorful soups and hearty meals that cater to different tastes. Customers praise the incredible flavors, especially dishes like Egusi with pounded yam, goat pepper soup, and Jollof rice, which are often enjoyed with extra pound yam or add-ons like beef or chicken. The atmosphere is inviting, and the staff, including a friendly waitress who also serves drinks, create a welcoming environment. The owner and staff are appreciated for their good service, and the hostess is known for her warm personality. While the food is generally good and well-prepared, some reviews mention occasional inconsistencies, such as the quality of rice, portion sizes, and occasional errors in orders and prices. The restaurant also offers a variety of options, with some customers noting that certain dishes like the egusi soup can have a less flavorful or different taste compared to other places. Overall, African Palace remains a favorite spot for many loyal customers, especially for those seeking authentic flavors and a friendly atmosphere.
