“Food is typically reliably good. The only issue is sometimes it takes a while to get your food. There have been multiple times it's taken roughly 45 minutes to get a few wings and fries. That's my only complaint, other than that the food is always good and the wait staff is always good.“

“Food and vibe was cool. Service was blah. Our server was slow, uncaring and also blah. The drinks came super slow which I found wierd because there may have been 10 people there with 2 servers, a bar tender and a lady that circled our table waiting for us to be done eating. The part which perplexed me was that our server brought our check before we asked and seemed perturbed we wanted another drink. Dont expect a normal dining experience here. Slow and boring is the experience I had.“

“Basically my go to for a well priced and filling meal. This place never fails to deliver the food wonderfully hot. Lots of good options no matter what type of food you’re looking for. Staff are very good and the place seems to run very efficiently. Came here more times than I can bother to count
Parking: Plenty of parking but can be difficult to find a spot in peak hours“
“I ordered the smores and pink velvet iced coffee. So yummy! I got the breakfast burrito. It was stuffed full. With bacon, sausage, tots, eggs, and cheese. So delicious! I got so full. Will be returning again soon. Can't wait to eat the waffles and try the waffle burger. Just grabbed the burrito today, so I could take it with me and eat it on the go. Was in a hurry, walked in ordered, and was in and out in less then 5 mins. Lady even opened the door for me to leave. Lots of space in what looks like a small building. Plenty of sitting outside as well.

“We really enjoyed our visit. The burger, steak, and dessert and drinks were delicious. The chili was good, but needed bread or crackers to go with it. The fries were a little too crispy/burnt but not bad. We would totally eat here again. Our waiter was awesome and we liked the atmosphere.“

“The service is top notch at Tropicana in Joplin Missouri! That’s what I love the most about it! The food is great, beer and bourbon selection are solid - small but mighty, great vibe early or late. I suggest the Shrimp Tacos or Your Mom (Turkey sandwich), and the house chips are amazingly addictive.“

“Amazing food and service. Steaks cooked perfectly and so flavorful. The Brussels sprouts were amazing. Had sirloin and a ribeye, loaded mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, Brussels sprouts, stuffed mushrooms and French fries. Dessert was a molten chocolate lava cake topped with iced cream.“

“Visited this restaurant today after not going for quite awhile. Employees were rude. Asked for a water refill ( 8 oz foam cup) and was told they cannot do that so went to ladies restroom to refill. There were upcharges on several things. Won't be going back.“

“A friend and I went to eat this evening and our waitress Emily was amazing. I had a small problem with my steak and she immediately fixed it. I have major food allergies and she made sure it was all safe. When I go back again I will ask to set in your section. Thank you Emily for making our night worth driving the hour to eat a wonderful steak.“

“Pretty decent BBQ joint. Compared to what we have (famous Dave's) it was a lot better and nearly the same price. Side note, seeing on a map how big the tornado was that went thru Joplin on the Netflix documentary than actually coming here I couldn't imagine how terrifying that day must have been.........“

“Came in to do a doordash. Smells outstanding inside. There was one lady working the kitchen, drive thru, and greeting people. She is amazing! Very hard worker. Customer service driven and informative about the order coming up. One of my best experiences dashing.“
