We had a great experience today with a work group. The service was fantastic and the food was phenomenal.
The smoked chicken nuggets were juicy, well-seasoned, and delicious. Those chicken nuggets were also pretty big and there were a good amount of them which was a good value despite the high price for an appetizer. What makes those chicken nuggets even better was that it came with four sauces and I especially enjoyed the white BBQ and BBQ ranch sauces the most. Great experiences dining here. KC offers many BBQ options and I’ve tried many of them, but this one stands out for fun atmosphere, best burnt ends I’ve had, and great servers.

Char Bar is a barbecue spot in Westport known for incredibly tasty BBQ and great service. The cheesy hush puppies with jalapeño jam are absolutely delicious and addictive. The Holy Trinity features brisket as a favorite, with ribs that have amazing bark like pork candy. The burnt ends are a must-order, though some found them over seasoned, while the spicy bbq is amazing. The Burnt Heaven sandwich is amazing, and the Whole Hog and Brisket Cheesesteak have phenomenal, tender, smoky meat. Sides like bbq pit beans with excellent flavor, fries, Jo Jo potatoes, broccoli slaw, and perfect slaw are delicious. The Strawberry Lemonade is kickin. There are a fair amount of vegetarian options. The Naked BBQ sauce is loved, though buns can fall apart quickly. Parking can be horrendous on weekends, but there is a parking garage right next to the restaurant.
