The staff at Chubby's deal with a lot of difficult people. They have good service and good food. Things aren't always perfect but they work hard and care about the customers. Great place to rest your mind after a wild night in midtown. Great place to get breakfast the morning after. A KC staple.

The entire staff was cheerful and amusing. The woman running the place,when I was there was humorous and engaging. The food was excellent as well. The decor is retro fifties. My counter stool was even wobbly, which I had to laugh at. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

Staff was friendly and very attentive. Food was everything you'd expect from a good diner. Everything from the warm gooey cinnamon roll they brought you while you were looking over the menu, the house-made ranch salad dressing was the best I've ever had to the Reuben sandwich and the old-fashioned liver and onions were great and everything was served in such big portions that we had enough food leftover to take home for lunch the next day!
