Kelsey, a sweet and patient waitress, goes out of her way to ensure a great experience, helping customers navigate the area. The service is top-notch, ensuring drinks are always full. The atmosphere features nice old-fashioned country decor and is perfect for a superb night out, with trains passing by adding to the ambiance. Visitors love the homemade carrot cake with secret frosting, a must-try dessert. For those celebrating special occasions, the staff goes above and beyond, providing serving utensils and plates for cakes brought by customers.

In addition to steaks, Jess and Jim's has many other great food options. They serve some of the best burgers in town, including the prime steakburger and sliders, though sliders are not available during Friday and Saturday dinner service. The shrimp dinners, either fried or scampi style, come with six large shrimp, a salad, and one side.
