Mudbug Cajun Po' Boys serves amazing food in a humble strip mall location. The po' boys, including the chicken andouille, roast beef, shrimp, and sea hog options, are standouts, and the red beans and rice are consistently delicious. The redfish special is well seasoned and cooked perfectly, while the okra and lemon garlic fries are also great choices. Portion sizes are generous, and the owners are kind. The king cake is amazing, and all ingredients are super fresh. While the atmosphere and service may not be exceptional, the food is great, making it a solid choice for a casual meal. There’s nothing like this place in KC—reasonably priced and highly recommended.
